  1. In honor of completing the architecture for my small map, here are some screenshots. All that's left is.... everything else

  2. Thanks Goldwell! I'd hope you'd like it because I definitely took a lot of inspiration from your maps, haha. I'm really excited to have finally gotten this in a pretty decent state

  3. Oh man, there's two of them The 32 bit is lost in time - it's april build. Old good times when exe's were just 5 MB in size...

  4. The test package only includes the x64 notools exe. The exe's you got left from 2.07 are not compatible with 2.08 glprogs.

  5. Why is everyone beating up Microsoft so much around here? I see nothing but nasty privacy news from Twitter, Facebook, Google, Apple, and many others. Just today... https://gizmodo.com/stop-what-youre-doing-and-upgrade-to-ios-13-1-right-now-1838405217 Microsoft makes quality solid products for millions of people, consumer and corporate. Yes, there are hiccups. Security is hard, because there's a lot of bad guys, hence why it's lucrative. Isn't there a car repair shop every few blocks? Shouldn't cars get a bad rap then? OK off my soapbox. I have to defend Microsoft when no one else will.

  7. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B9OoHSmkeSeNZWdyZFliQkNsVTA/view?usp=sharing It crashes for me on one PC. If it does for you as well, post your gpu model and driver version.

  8. I can give you a download link but beware - its glprogs folder is not compatible with 2.07. If you have a 'regular' TDM installation with pk4's, you can simply delete that later and go back to 2.07.

  9. Really want to hear more about the werebeast. Here's some grape smashing vats to go with my Tuscan villa/winery. I'm not impressed with their lack of roundness, are there better ways to achieve this? I took a sphere, chopped off the caps so it was a cylinder then hollowed it out and gave it wood texture, but there must be a better way. Overall tho, I like the proportions, and its climbability. I'll add spickets to the front of the vats once I'm happy with them.

  10. I was able to get the GL3 speed on par with persistent mapping Guess how? Pass GL_STATIC_DRAW to qglBufferData

  11. Temp buffer turns out even slower qglBindBuffer( bufferType, tempBuff ); qglBufferData( bufferType, length, mapBuff, bufferUsage ); qglBindBuffer( GL_COPY_READ_BUFFER, tempBuff ); qglBindBuffer( GL_COPY_WRITE_BUFFER, bufferObject ); qglCopyBufferSubData( GL_COPY_READ_BUFFER, GL_COPY_WRITE_BUFFER, 0, lastMapOffset, length ); qglBufferData( bufferType, length, NULL, bufferUsage );
