  1. Just want to mention some locations that are hosting our data, as examples.

Like our game(-sourcecode) can be installed from opensuse official game repo. And darkradiant from a ubuntu repo. We got the game(and assets) on moddb.

I tried to get tdm installer / binary on several app repo's, but others succeeded. And We all tried to get tdm (game & assets) on steam and Gog.

But got it my old installer-frontend on tdm's download page and a package on playonlinux (tdm windows on wine). And my written tdm-wiki article about installing tdm on several os'ses.

    Official game Repo listing:

    Opensuse Build service: https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/games/thedarkmod

    Darkradiant on ubuntu

  2. Fiver, there are many ways you can contribute. Several ways are described on the forum and wiki.

You pointed us to some locations in missions. Please read the forum posts & the wiki, watch some youtube editor tutorials, download and  use the mission files & darkradiant to try fix/change  the things you mentioned.

    For starters,

    And

  3. I cannot speak for the mission creators, but if was one i would say: "thanks for the suggestions. please adjust them yourself, if you want to do it. The needed source and info are publisched online.  it takes time to repair the problems. I (dont) have time for it. Maybe you get some experience by repairing this yourself, to create some new content yourself."

This is the process I used:

    1. Go into Desktop Mode
    2. Download Chrome from the Application Manager
    3. Download tdm_installer.linux64.zip
    4. Unzip+download in /home/documents
    5. add TheDarkModx64.exe as non-steam-game
    6. set compatibility to Proton 7.0-2
    7. Profit

I created a simple installer script,
that uses a popular method to install TDM as non steam game to steamdeck:
Just run several commands, by running a desktop-shortcut.
(this creates a folder in the homefolder, downloads the official installer zip package, unzip it and runs the TDM installer unattended)

    1. go to desktop mode
    2. Download the attached file from this post, to the desktop and run it.
    3. hit execute button
    4. and wait.
    5. After the process, you wil find the TDM folder in de home folder
    6. Add the file "thedarkmod.x64" from that folder, as a nonsteam game to the steam library

    tdminstall.desktop

  5. Just want to say that the t.s is running a linux distro on a mac. I dont know how far we can help you.

We love to see audio log-lines from this game.

If you generate a "condump", during the display of the main menu, and posting its content in this topic, that would be nice.

Open the console and enter command: condump

    For some other info.
