  1. I can't believe it took me this long to think of this!
  2. still needs a better computer!

  3. I think I already found a computer worth saving up for. http://www.directron.com/sysbackschool4.html
  4. For the most part, yes. I may or may not be wrong, but I think some were not Catholic.
  5. Actually, the Hammerites and Mechanists resemble medieval Catholicism. It was mainly the Catholics who were violent and force their religion on others. Not all believers were like that back then. Catholicism and Christianity are very different when you think about it. Just saying.
  6. I did think about that, but the main reason I can't is because of the game I want to play. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare requires a better motherboard AND a better CPU than the one I have now. The main problem is that I am having a hard time choosing the right motherboard and CPU for gaming purposes. There are so many versions of these things and I don't know exactly what would be best and not too expensive. If I can get these two things figured out, I am pretty sure I can take care of the rest. How about this? Is this a pretty decent motherboard for gaming? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131363&cm_re=ddr3_motherboard-_-13-131-363-_-Product
  7. Thanks, but you really don't have to do all of that just for me. I am pretty sure I will find something on my own. I just need to figure out how make my own computer.
  8. I don't mean to upgrade my computer daily, I just want to be able to play the games I have and buy a few newer games. When you say to build my own PC, do you mean to buy every part separately and build it from scratch, or have it custom made like www.stealthmachines.com ?
  9. I need a good gaming computer that I can buy that is cheap as possible. I don't want a piece of crap computer, and I don't want to spend a lot of money on one. I prefer a gaming computer that can easily play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Custom made computer sites would be good, but does anybody know any sites that sell affordable, upgradable, custom made gaming computers? So far, the best site I can find is: www.stealthmachines.com Is this the best site I can get?
  10. I know that you can pull them closer. Sometimes you can pull them as close as possible and still hit things. Maybe I am just too used to the original Thief games. The bow sight is what I would recommend the most.
  11. Xarg, thanks for your help! I know some things about computers. I know the very basics when it comes to hardware, but I do have a fairly good knowledge of computer programs. I know I can assemble computers without breaking them, I just want to make sure I don't plug something in the wrong way. Is it possible to plug in something the wrong way and fry the motherboard? The old computer I had was a damn good gaming computer with Windows XP. The motherboard could be upgraded to the extreme if I wanted too. How did I destroy it? One day I pushed the master button on my surge protector to turn off the computer. I guess this sent an electrical surge from the power supply all the way to the motherboard! I WAS SOOOOOOO MAD THAT DAY!!!! I was so frustrated by my ignorance that I constantly wrote "fu**" in a notebook over and over again. xD Anyway, want I want to do is buy a gaming computer with an upgradable motherboard and the basic hardware. If I can, I want to buy the desktop without a drive and use my Windows 7 drive that came with the eMachines computer. The ONLY flaw with this computer is the video card and ultimately the size of the case. If possible, I want to salvage all the good hardware on my eMachines computer and transfer them to a gaming computer. Lets see, I got myself a good DVD drive, an excellent hard drive, and 2 (1gig) memory sticks. If I can buy a motherboard that is good for gaming, I can just use these three hardware parts instead of buying new ones for the gaming computer. I really DO NOT want to re-install another OS to my drive just to be compatible with the new motherboard. Here are my three hardware parts. What gaming motherboard should I get for them? Hard Drive: 320GB 7200rpm SATA (Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit) Optical Drive: 16x DVD±R/RW SuperMulti drive Write max: 16x DVD±R, 6x DVD-RW, 8x DVD+RW, 8x DVD±R DL, 5x DVD-RAM, 48x CD-R and 32x CD-RW Read max: 16x DVD-ROM, 40x CD-ROM Memory Cards: 2GB DDR2 dual-channel (2 × 1GB)
  12. Perhaps you are right, but I seriously don't want to waste my life on politics. I really don't care anymore. I am just going to live my life the way I want it and not let corrupted governments ruin it.
  13. Yeah, I don't watch TV anymore either. Nothing good is ever on anyway.
  14. Too late. I already tried moving the motherboard. Don't worry, I did not screw up anything. Basically what I did was unplug everything, put the new motherboard in the old case, realize that the other hardware would not fit, took the motherboard out and into the original case, plugged everything back in, and that was it. I realized that it was out of my league and I don't know anybody who is really good with computers. Surprisingly, the motherboard fit perfectly. The power supply and plug in devices did not fit at all. It's kind of disappointing because I got my hopes up when the motherboard fit in the old case. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. Having the inside of the computer that looks like this is not very hard to remember where everything went. I have opened up computers before, but this was my first time taking a motherboard out. http://www.e4allupgraders.info/dir1/motherboards/socketam2/boxer_WMCP61M.shtml Thanks for your help though. I think I will just save up some money and buy a custom made gaming computer. I will still keep all of the hardware I can transfer to my future computer. At least I will save some money that way. Does anybody know any good websites that lets you customize your computer at a affordable price?
  15. My old case is an Antec ATX Midtower Case. Will it work?
