  1. @chischis It just occurred to me, that I have already deleted my 2.09 setup as 2.10 is close to release. Would you mind updating to the latest 2.10 beta? I then would provide you with a DL for the latest version of the mission dmapped with the latest 2.10 beta (and with a few additonal bug fixes).
  2. Sorry for the problems. Can you put these savegames on wetransfer? I do not have a google account. Edit: Strike that. Download works without login
  3. I've found a great tutorial for DaVinci. Even the free version seemingly offers plenty of features. I think I have a few promising options now. Thank you @Zerg Rush@datiswous@freyk
  4. You do not even recall the feature film with Dolph Lundgren? :)
  5. Some of you guys have now reached a level that falls under the Geneva War Weapons Convention when it comes to mapping quality. I will respond in an appropriate manner in the foreseeable future, until then: Excellent work, you scoundrel!
  6. All previous briefing videos have been made with After Effects by a friend of mine who unfortunately cannot do it anymore. These video editors look very useful and pretty close to what I am searching for, I will have a closer look. Thank you. I did not know that there is a free version of Fusion, I will check it out as well. Thank you for the hint. Indeed, I played around with it some more time and it is really very powerful. Apart from the bugs the only thing I consider a hindrance is the node based approach when it comes to complex settings (although one can circumvent that to a certain extend by using the alternative curve editor).
  7. Yes, that sort of thing. Which cost free editor would you recommend for Thief-like briefing videos? Natron looked very promising for 2D compositing, but when I tried to figure out the basics today, I had already lots of crashes - and I was just trying simple text/pictures/shadertoy compositing. I am pretty sure that's not a problem on my end as online research shows that lots of the features are faulty, plus, the development crew is quite small. It is beyond me how this shall work for even more complex setups. Thing is, I want to do this myself for future missions, but I don't feel like investing into an AE license with tons of features I will never need. @Zerg Rush: Any ideas here?
  8. Does anyone here know about video tutorials explaining how to create briefing videos similar to the typcial Thief/DM style?
  9. I'm not really a fan of city missions, but I have to say that this is my new favorite along with A good neighbour, Now and Then and The Painter's Wife. My hatred of the author has now reached irrational levels. Just creating fake accounts to badmouth the mission here. I have also asked a number of friends to register here and call this mission a sham and punish it in the ratings - I'm tough but fair (when it serves to protect my ego). On a different note: My new favorite DM/Skyrim tavern: I wished I could have drinks there.
  10. The only reasons I could think of is that looping is the only suitable usage of these sound shaders and thus the relevant keyword has been put in the code.
  11. Then try: 1. Remove the speaker 2. Create a new speaker with the sound shader If this all does not help, please do an upload of the map as txt file to the forums. File sizes must not exceed 500 kb.
  12. Maybe you have duplicated the speaker by accident before removing the property in question? 1. Select the speaker in question 2. Press "H" to hide it 3. If there is a duplicated speaker, it should be visible now (with a different entity name, of course)
  13. Congratulations on the release, what an effort! Personally, I find your mapping skills rather demoralizing, so I hope someone breaks your hardware in the near future.
  14. You are right: I hope this one gets added to the core mod because its operation is much easier.
  15. @Jedi_Wannabe Congratulations on the release! You did it, my friend, you really finished it!
  16. Just checked the three missions and I can confirm your statement; the cameras still work as they should.
  17. I know what you mean. I gotta tell you, it was sometimes quite hard for me to continue working on this mission. The WIP included regular documents like the .txt file in which grayman already filled in: "Release date: ???". I think it goes without saying that these findings did not really work well with me because they told me once again the hard truth.
  18. @nbohr1more I have already made updates ony my end for the 2.10 release for all of the missions I have published. Will beta 5 be the last before the next release? Is it ok to check the cameras in HHVF, HHTLC and HHTA this weekend, maybe tomorrow nite?
  19. @Fidcal Good to see you here active once again. Any plans on creating new missions?
  20. I cannot record videos with OBS anymore though I did not change the OBS version. Anyone else noticed this as well?
  21. I finished the mission Sunday evening. I have to say you just know how to create atmosphere - light, ambient music and decoration are always extremely consistent and fitting. I just don't understand how you do it. As I wrote in a post above, this mission reminds me a lot of certain old Tomb Raider and Resident Evil games. I really think it's a great combination of both games. However, I don't think the saving system on the highest level of difficulty is that great, but you can now save normally again on the two lower levels of difficulty, thus the game should be enjoyable for everyone who wants to use the default saving system. So, thank you very much for this work, I will try to learn from it, and let me finish this post with a screenshot that perfectly describes the vibes I felt when playing this great mission:
  22. Joe Jackson's phenomenal rearrangement of one of his biggest early 1980s hit, recorded in 1986, also available on CD: https://piped.kavin.rocks/watch?v=U2ehJmZbyfY @Zerg Rush: have you ever seen him on stage?
  23. I was always wondering what this entity could be used for...
