I had this same problem for a long time. Every mission I tried crashed to desktop about halfway through loading. FYI My box is a win 7 32 bit ultimate with geforce 730 2gig and 8 gigs ram with an ASUS P8p67- LE mobo. It worked really well before TDM 2.07, but not after. The problem is memory Allocation. Its a malloc failure (268435456)- at least im my case. None of the usual fixes to the config file worked nor did anything else. After considerable research and study of the problem i found that In win 7 32bit you can't get past about 3.9gig limit even if you have 8gigs of ram. I upgraded my box to win 7 64 bit ultimate clean install (dual boot so all the old stuff i had is still available) and now the malloc error is gone and TDM runs perfect. It just needed a 64 bit system to be able to allocate properly. I hope this helps others with this vexing problem. TDM is too good to miss.
