  1. I understand lighting fine, I was looking at a solution which involved a point light with a modified origin / center, so the need for 2 textures was gone. My idea was coming from several lighting tutorials on doom3world regarding light binding.
  2. This is more of a general doom 3 question though it does have some relevance here. Suppose you have one of the traditional street lamps from Thief which has 4 yellow sides to it, how do you create a light source that lights these sides up in addition to the other area the light is lighting up e.g. similar to this screenshot: Thanks!
  3. Damn! OK then can I make a request that this "feature" is included in the final release then?
  4. Cool! Could you attach a map file with just those shapes?
  5. I'm not saying that modelling is bad or anything. Its more of a "it can be done with just D3 brushes as well". Any ideas on my main question though?
  6. Hi, I'm working on recreating elements from the dark mod gallery that were done with models and converting them into brushes. I've managed to create the windows from this shot: What I am attempting to do now is create these sort of hanging blue particles / light "spears" that shine from the window onto the ground. Anyone know how to do this? Regards, DarkShadow
