Any artist fancy designing a flag/banner for me?

I need a logo/coat of arms whatever for Thaskbury House in my FM. I could do this myself but it only adds to the delay before the FM is released so I wonder if there are any artists out there might enjoy doing it.

 

It might be a simple letter T surrounded by a circular motif or something I dunno, perhaps like the Bafford banner. Or maybe it has Thaskbury in full. It could be a full coat of arms. It wants to fit in a square tile and should be a layer in a Photoshop or Paintshop Pro image file. Probably 2048 x 2048 is good so it can be reduced/cropped to 1024 x 1024 ultimately for in-game.

 

If anyone interested then I'd suggest post a few rough ideas here before proceeding.

 

Even if you can't do this then ideas, suggestions welcome for a design.

What level of nobility are we talking about? Do you have ideas for a coat of arms? is there anything important in the family history that might contribute?

It's a fairly blank canvas. Lord Thaskbury is head of the house which is a big tudor style house on the edge of Thaskbury, a small village and Thaskbury moor. He has some connections with royalty from another country but this is just friendship; he has no blood connections with royalty.

 

I've no other story character developed for him (other than that he is a villain of course ) so almost any generic coat of arms type of stuff might do. But it does want either the letter T or Thaskbury on their somewhere to make it distinctive.

 

@masterthief: Yes, any rough pattern ideas might be worth looking at if you can scan them in.

 

Consider also making the letter(ing) in a separate layer. If two or more good designs come forth then they need not be wasted as the letter can be changed.

 

BTW I should clarify it should be on a no-art background. If you have no access to layers and totally transparent surround then a pure colour that is not used on the design edge can be used instead, eg, bright pink, like a blue screen, so I can extract just the design with no background.

 

Note that in-game it will be displayed on a standard banner colour; the flag I am not decided yet but most likely a light colour not dark so it is more visible in the night sky.
