I the room at the top of the stairs at the start one of the guards just circles when alerted

I don't think it is a 2.03 problem rather lack of space

I put out the torch with a water arrow then knocked the candlestick off the table with a broadhead. After blackjacking the unarmed one the one with the sword just circled as shown in the screenshot

Well, he's got more space now than he did before. I did everything I could think of to allow them to freely move in that space, but apparently not enough.

Hmm, why do they show up as the same size? The new version is slightly larger than the old.

Ive reuploaded it again, can you run your tool and see what it some up with for those two mirrors..?

I saw the update in the in-game downloader but gnartsch was correct in that some mirrors don't have the new version as I didn't download the new version. Had to download the pk4 and delete the old version's mission directory, then insert the pk4 into the darkmod/fms directory.

Well spotted, I have corrdected the path/s on the FM page and then I will make a start on removing the TDM2missions folder once and for all.

I just read the txt file and it appears that I have v2 - so good - however it also states it needs 2.03 to run - is this correct or would it work under 2.02

 

It uses some assets from 2.03, so it might run, but there would be problems. Why would you still be using 2.02 though??

Overall a very solid and smooth-to-play-mission. Definitely something I would recommend! I especially like the fact that the characters are personalized (own voices makes it all feel more vivid) and very creative elements are used. There are also some surprise-moments - well done!

 

Maybe the mission is a bit short and ends sort of abrupt, so for me the ending appeared kinda quick.

Damn, I don't remember this mission being this hard. I really struggled with the alarm, but then again, this is the first time I've played this mission since the new AI update where they work together better, and I'm using the difficulty sliders at Challenging/Challenging, so that didn't help me out much either.

 

It's still being processed by youtube so give it an hour.

 

I always assumed I'd taste like boot leather.

I finally played the updated version of this great FM for the first time. This is one of the first FM I ever played, about 2 years ago...This time, I finished it on the challenging difficulty, and well...it was indeed challenging. Luckily, I still remember how to open the secret entrance to the attic and where to find the skull ring. I remember how hard it was to find the secret entrance in my first play, it took me some time. Anyway, I never got to write a review about this FM, but considering its age and how popular it is, I would just be repeating what has already been said in this thread.

Also, I know this is not the first FM I noticed it, but it still really bothers me that standing on the fire doesn't hurt my character.

I agree about the fire...just something that slipped my mind.

A heads up, as of the new update there may be a bug.

 

 

If you ghosted the level and left Sykes place, just outside Gridley's the new, searching guards seem to keep finding a left over weapon they assume was left by a corpse.

 

I'm hoping this can be fixed in a future update, it's making the final section more difficult than it needs to be in an otherwise perfect level.

I like to record difficult stealth games, and right now you wonderful people are the only ones delivering on that front.

That's odd, as there's no reason there should be a weapon anywhere near there unless an AI dropped it. I'll look at the saved game you sent.

This was really nice mission. I liked the usuability for the compass:-) Also,

 

failing to notice the chain in the shadows gave me quite a number of (useless) attempts to sneak from the hall up the stairway to Syke's room...and what a relieve it was to climb that chain instead:-)
