All the wiki entries point to Missions page where your mirrors are listed so the Bloodgate mirrors in the actual wiki are kinda redundant though it's convenient.

There are a bunch of missions missing those so I'll fix that for the sake of consistency.

As for the new privileges... if you've got a sharp eye, you will notice some improvements to many of the screens for the missions in the missions database...

Two months to judge? I dunno, wouldn't one be enough? This way, the announcement of the winners may feel a bit like an afterthought...

Come the time of peril, did the ground gape, and did the dead rest unquiet 'gainst us. Our bands of iron and hammers of stone prevailed not, and some did doubt the Builder's plan. But the seals held strong, and the few did triumph, and the doubters were lain into the foundations of the new sanctum. -- Collected letters of the Smith-in-Exile, Civitas Approved

One month for 5 missions doesn't sound too bad. It's not like they're very big.

So much frontpage time at Moddb!

It's because all the FPS modders are playing Battlefield 3.

^_^

All the better for us, I feel... ;-P

Sorry guys, I'm out.

But I'm still working on it and hopefully I can finish it in the next few months.

Hey Xcen.

Are you planning on merging that work with this:

http://forums.thedarkmod.com/topic/10003-so-what-are-you-working-on-right-now/page__view__findpost__p__260325

...or are they still two different developments?

Umm, I know it's late, but I went to make a Steam announcment about the contest/missions.

However it's hard to find which missions are actually in the contest.

How about for next contest we:

1-sticky the contest announcement topic. I found this once, and had to back track to find it again, lol.

2- when the missions are released add them to the first page so we have an easy to find list instead of trying to find each forum post.

I know last time I posted contest on Steam I got it wrong like 3 times in a row.

This time I announced the released entries over at moddb but making the thread sticky would help too. I'll also update the 1st post as suggested.

Thanks.

Just in case, the entries are:

House in Blackbog Hollow (stumpy)

Samhain night on Bone Hill (pranqster)

A Night to Remember (Fieldmedic)

The Creeps (Mortem Desino)

Dragon's Claw (Bikerdude)

Not sure if this is the place to ask but here goes. Why are the polls different from each other? In some it say's I've voted (Creeps, A Night to Remember) yet I can not see how nor can I see what others have voted. Yet in others (Dragons Claw) I can see how I voted as well as how others have voted? Just curious.

There is an option to set the poll to make votes public but my browser didn't render it apparently (or I missed it) so the template poll above isn't public. I imagine that some combination of either the issue I mentioned or authors trying to remain consistent with the template are at fault for polls that are missing public voter detail. Then, of course, some of the polls were built to be more consistent with the previous contests. Now we have our gumbo of both public and private votes. (Apologies.)

You cannot receive PMs. Could you please be so kind and check your mailbox if it is full (or maybe you switched off the function)?

I like the new frob highlight but it would nice if it was less "flickery" while moving over objects (especially barred metal doors).

Well then, it's been about a week since I released my first FM and I must say that I was very pleasantly surprised by its reception. I had expected half as much interest in my short little FM as I received and even less when it came to positive feedback, but I am glad that the aspects of my mission that I put the most heart into were often the most appreciated. It was also delightful to read plenty of honest criticism and helpful feedback, as I've already been given plenty of useful pointers on improving my brushwork, level design, and gameplay difficulty.
I've gotten back into the groove of chipping away at my reading and game list, as well as the endless FM catalogue here, but I may very well try my hand at the 15th anniversary contest should it materialize. That is assuming my eyes are ready for a few more months of Dark Radiant's bright interface while burning the midnight oil, of course!
