TDM Updater 0.61..?

Apologies if this is obvious one, I'm new to TDM..

 

Is there a quicker way I can get all the files needed to run TDM? as I'm now at 30+ hrs & counting having DL just over 80%

I very much doubt it's an issue my side as I generally get very fast speeds with more or less everything.

Yeah, the download mirrors are being hammered now, because so many people are downloading TDM simultaneously. It should clear after the first download peak, I suppose.

 

Maybe someone with a lot of bandwith could put up a torrent at some point?

There is a full package for version 1.8 up on ModDB and downloading that first would give you a bit of a head start over everyone else. However with you sitting at 80% you may not be much better off.

Myself and Springs are in the middle of setting up new mirrors kindly given to us by Taaaki that we only got access to last night.

Fair enough.. frustrating though as I'm eager to play, but I guess if you're short on patience you probably shouldn't be bothering with TDM in the first place.

As soon as someone gets a torrent up, i'll start mirroring it via our offices backup connections. (2 20Mb links that are completely unused at the moment...)

 

I'll take a little while me to get enough downloaded to seed it, but it should help relieve some of the pressure on the download servers. (the mirror list isn't even loading reliably right now...)
