Yay! Congrats for the winner and all the contestants!

I really liked this contest, because now we saw what can be accomplished in a really short amount of time, and I have to say, it has been most impressive. Five completed works in this amount of time is a signal of die-hard dedication.

Thanks for nbohr for the calculations and PR stunts.

Congratulations Melan, another contest, another win, so I guess they need to update your profile stats now :) Please send me your e-mail address via PM so that I can send you your winners price ;)

Many thanks to everyone else too who participated - you made TDM richer than it already is! I am amazed what this kind of speed contest brought to the light of day! You guys are awesome - please stay that way

Congratulations to you all. I'm also really happy to see what great work can come out of such little time. And I see this as a good sign that the art and practice of FM building is still healthy and kicking.

What do you see when you turn out the light? I can't tell you but I know that it's mine.

Congrats Melan !

Thanks to all the contestants, I sincerly enjoy each fm, for different reasons, visual, scary, plot... and I've got the pleasure to travel this Halloween's night in 5 different universes, thanks for that.

As always, this demonstrates that it is not that hard to build a TDM mission - so, if you haven't, try it!

Well, I'll tell you that in a few weeks (....months....or years maybe !), let me digest the tutorial !

Aw... sucks I got here late and didn't get a chance to vote. Although all missions had good sides and bad sides, so picking just one would have been difficult.

In any case, this contest was a reason to see some great new TDM missions! Since from what I noticed there haven't been many missions in the making this year, that was certainly welcome.

Does anyone actually use the Normalise button in the Surface inspector? Even after looking at the code I'm not quite sure what it's for.

Turns out my 15th anniversary mission idea has already been done once or twice before! I've been beaten to the punch once again, but I suppose that's to be expected when there's over 170 FMs out there, eh? I'm not complaining though, I love learning new tricks and taking inspiration from past FMs. Best of luck on your own fan missions!

I wanna play Doom 3, but fhDoom has much better features than dhewm3, yet fhDoom is old, outdated and probably not supported. Damn!
Makes me think that TDM engine for Doom 3 itself would actually be perfect.

Maybe a bit of advice ? In the FM series I'm preparing, the two main characters have the given names Toby and Agnes (it's the protagonist and deuteragonist, respectively), I've been toying with the idea of giving them family names as well, since many of the FM series have named protagonists who have surnames. Toby's from a family who were usually farriers, though he eventually wound up working as a cobbler (this serves as a daylight "front" for his night time thieving). Would it make sense if the man's popularly accepted family name was Farrier ? It's an existing, though less common English surname, and it directly refers to the profession practiced by his relatives. Your suggestions ?

Looks like the "Reverse April Fools" releases were too well hidden. Darkfate still hasn't acknowledge all the new releases. Did you play any of the new April Fools missions?
