Weapon Upgrades...?

I'm not sure if this has already been asked, so I'll ask.

Will you give us incentives to collect loot, to, let's say, get things like weapon upgrades? Not necessarily bigger badder weapons, or even MORE weapons to clutter your arsenal, but small, incremental upgrades to your existing weapons by way of, let's say, something like magic. You know, something like when you gained Constantine's sword in Thief 1 (even though it was said it was magical, I didn't notice anything magical about it).

What you're talking about is more of a campaign aspect. While we are making a campaign, it will be out a while after the toolset. The toolset itself will have several maps to play but they will not be linked in a campaign style, that is, unless some mappers just want to do campaign type maps linked to each other. I think Glee is doing that.

As far as upgrades in the TDM campaign goes, it's not really decided. The team decided to first finish the toolset and then go back to the campaign and finish it off writing wise and storyboard wise. I have'nt read through the campaign document fully myself (I should  ) so I am not sure if we are doing things like that. But i'm sure there was something like that.

IIRC, the powerup of Constantines sword was to slay zombies, not just knock them down. And you could use it to open beerbottles too.

The only difference between Constantine's sword and the regular sword was that Constantine's did not have a visibility penalty when it was drawn.

Much as I would have loved a zombie-killer, it had no extra killing powers whatsoever.

I've finally managed to log in to The Dark Mod Wiki. I'm back in the saddle and before the holidays start in full, I'll be adding a few new FM articles and doing other updates. Written in Stone is already done.

I like the new frob highlight but it would nice if it was less "flickery" while moving over objects (especially barred metal doors).
