Tonight I will be impersonating a police officer in order to gain entrance to my friends appartment building so that I may assassinate her...with a water pistol. ;)

 

It's an assassins game that I'm playing with my former co-workers. So far I'm the only person to have assassinated anyone. I've got two under my belt. Going for number 3. Wish me luck!! ;)

I'd use my sniper water rifle and pick her off from the roof of the building opposite. Less chance of witnesses that way. Or set the fire alarm off and shoot her as she ran out, or break into her car and plant a water bomb...let's face it, you just like dressing up as a policeman.

lol, a water pistol? Amateur...

 

What you need is a Super Soaker 2500 for ultimate drench factor.

 

Or if you wanna be a philistine about it, a bucket would work too.

Well, a super soaker would be great for a stake out, but I need to conceal the pistol and move quickly. This one is no larger than an open hand, has great distance and has already taken out two of my opponents. ;)

Well this is a clever little game. In High School we hold an annual Nerf war (that is absolutely huge here) that lasts two weeks. It's so big in fact that the police in my City got involved and another neighbourhood (much bigger then our own) made the front page of the newspaper! Evidently, it made the police nervous that kids were walking around with bright orange dart guns in the summer. One of the best fights I was involved in was when a car full of 4 guys with automatic guns (nerf) stopped buy to bombard a house. However, coincidentally, an alliance of 10 people were at that house. It quickly turned into a standoff with them popping in and out of the car. Untill, that is, they rolled down the sunroof to negotiate. However, what they didn't think about was their deadliest mistake. I just ran up to the car and shoved my rapid fire into the gap (20 shots) and unloaded.

 

That was fun and all a couple years ago, but now I'm slowly getting into airsoft guns (paintball with low powered BB guns, very popular in Japan). I might add that I'm a pacifist as well.

      i am so euphoric to see new FMs keep coming out and I am keen to try it out in my leisure time, then suddenly my PC is spouting a couple of S.M.A.R.T errors...
      tbf i cannot afford myself to miss my network emulator image file&progress, important ebooks, hyper-v checkpoint & hyper-v export and the precious thief & TDM gamesaves. Don't fall yourself into & lay your hands on crappy SSD

      Turns out my 15th anniversary mission idea has already been done once or twice before! I've been beaten to the punch once again, but I suppose that's to be expected when there's over 170 FMs out there, eh? I'm not complaining though, I love learning new tricks and taking inspiration from past FMs. Best of luck on your own fan missions!

      I wanna play Doom 3, but fhDoom has much better features than dhewm3, yet fhDoom is old, outdated and probably not supported. Damn!
      Makes me think that TDM engine for Doom 3 itself would actually be perfect.

      Maybe a bit of advice ? In the FM series I'm preparing, the two main characters have the given names Toby and Agnes (it's the protagonist and deuteragonist, respectively), I've been toying with the idea of giving them family names as well, since many of the FM series have named protagonists who have surnames. Toby's from a family who were usually farriers, though he eventually wound up working as a cobbler (this serves as a daylight "front" for his night time thieving). Would it make sense if the man's popularly accepted family name was Farrier ? It's an existing, though less common English surname, and it directly refers to the profession practiced by his relatives. Your suggestions ?
