teh_saccadenever heard of gamesesssions - like a "full demo" steam account, rather than <2 hours play and a refund if it's pap.
I'm sticking with the seven seas of internet for most stuff:)
Thanks for the link - useful service.
Jul 08 2017 12:53 PM
teh_saccadeshame the catalogue is so limited...
Jul 08 2017 01:10 PM
teh_saccadeStill not got it loaded - however there's a seven seas version that works perfectly and have been playing while it installs "for free" :P
Idk about that service mate. Deinstalling it.

I need a script request tracker. Sorta collecting points and once I have enough I get a new bicycle or a plushie at least. :D
SeriousToniI would love to buy you a bicycle! :D

Google Blocks 3D Modelers: https://www.blog.google/products/google-vr/blocks-easily-create-3d-objects-vr/
jaxaWouldn't a snap to grid option take care of some of the shakiness inherent in VR control?
And it could be pretty precise if your hand movements are recorded... pretty precisely.
Jul 06 2017 11:24 PM
Sotha...And I read it initially that "Google blocks (as in "bans") 3D modelers," and thought what the hell, and then got curious how will they do that. XD
Jul 07 2017 12:54 AM
JudithSame here ;)

Trying out Soundcloud. Uploaded some test mixes/productions on https://soundcloud.com/user-777685577
GameDevGoroSounds pretty good :) One of them was maybe a taaad bit too compressed. But aside from that. it's a clear and full sound. good job!

Is it possible to run Darkloader with the Steam versions of Thief Gold and 2? None of the resources I've found have given a definitive answer. A little advice would be greatly appreciated!
freykJust try it.
It works good.
Jul 05 2017 03:32 PM
chakkmanThief Gold and Thief 2 from Steam don't use Steam DRM, or anything. You can just copy the games folder from the Steam folder, and put it wherever you like, and start it from there. So, any modifications will work too. I successfully patched Thief Gold with TTFix, and Thief 2 with TafferPatcher, both worked fine.
Jul 06 2017 06:07 PM
BiyaAh yes, I neglected to install tafferpatcher. Everything works, thanks for the help!

Well this sucks... I've used Photobucket for years and now you have to pay to allow other sites to view img links. All I gotta say is F%ck these guys, anybody else have a recommended permanent image hosting service?
BikerdudeGoogle photos suck at sharing, posting image in the forum is a right PITA. Like Sotha I use imgr.

MelanTumblr is pretty good for this.

kanoIt always makes me laugh when a company gets so big and then decides that the way the Internet works, (which got them where they are) is no longer convenient for them. They then try to break standard functionality, in the hopes of driving up profits or gaining subscriptions, but in reality they just push people, even existing happy users, away.

That moment you log into TDM forums and suddenly feel nostalgic...
SothaProtip: if you never log off and stay for ever, there is no nostalgia when you visit.

You deleted the lion avatar!!! :o :o :o
AndersonYeah, I suppose the Narnia vibes are fine only occasionally, without a decent photo of some sort.

Found a great (user friendly/free) program for Linux to map gamepads to function as a keyboard and mouse for gaming. Its called Qjoypad. You can play any game with a gamepad/joystick, even games that forbid it (if such a thing exists).
I saw that we have a YouTube page (maybe we've had it for a while & I'm just finding out), apparently automatically generated. https://gaming.youtube.com/game/UCBIJ1NKkWkp8hbiHiN5KqpQ
jaxa*Not to say FenPhoenix Let's Plays are off-topic, just that they are not live streamed.
Jun 17 2017 10:28 PM
BikerdudeWhat exactly is it..?
Jun 22 2017 11:57 AM
demagogueThere are apparently so many Let's Plays on YT that they decided to make automatically-generated homepages for every game to hold all the LPs. That's what this is in a nutshell.

Hey there. What is your favorite TDM mission?
CarltonTroisiCrucible of Omens 1! That was a really long, tough mission. But also probably the most ambitious!
Just asking because you seem to have good taste in these things.
Volta and the Stone is a recent favorite of mine.
Jun 14 2017 01:55 PM
SeriousToniThank you for the compliment! :)
I will try out Volta and the Stone too, as I did not yet!
Did you start to build your own map already? I can recommend doing so, as it is really a lot of fun to do!
Jun 18 2017 05:01 PM
CarltonTroisiWell, mapping is very complicated for me! As of now, it doesn't sound fun! :D
Have you ever teach mapping?
