Who manages the TDM twitter account? as it hasent had an update in a very very long time.
XargIsn't that nbohr1more?
Jul 01 2018 07:52 AM
nbohr1moreNope. I created my own Twitter to try and promote but it never gained much traction. The "official" Twitter is owned by New Horizon as I recall.

I've been working on creating transcripts for the vocal sets we currently have. A few finished ones will be posted to the wiki, soon. Keep patient.
SpringheelThere are places where I reused lines (or parts of them) in multiple places, but the scripts are all complete. I'll track them down.
Jun 27 2018 12:29 PM
BikerdudeHaving this on the wiki maybe a good step forward.
Jun 27 2018 03:36 PM
RPGistaYeah, definitely good for those needing to set up conversations by using existing vocals. Cool
Jun 29 2018 03:07 PM
BikerdudeI use WFC to block all games(and other applications) I play so they don't get access to the internet.
Jun 22 2018 02:15 AM
kanoThe trouble is that most (all?) games require admin privs to install and play on Windows, at least if you install the official way. At that point, they can do whatever they like to your system. Security needs a redo on the PC, where programs are prohibited from tampering with each other by compartmentalization in the OS.

Cambridge SpyESO is mentioned as one of the games which had RedShell. I noticed a quick update which isn't mentioned in the patch notes, so it's got to be RedShell removal.
Jun 23 2018 02:24 AM
I added an EFX reverb column to the missions wiki. (No pressure...) :)
EpifireI would personally love an A to Z tut. I still might have a guy set for doing my FM soundtrack so having extra knowledge to arm all the select audio bits would be wonderful.
Jun 20 2018 12:15 AM
demagogueThe Location System is technically mentioned in the context of a blurb saying the ambient sound system exists. (I remember because I wrote it!) But not everything it does. It's a bit complicated for an intro tutorial, but if many people think it's important enough, maybe we can have section just for it and add the ambient sound & EFX.
Jun 20 2018 07:37 AM
demagogueYes to stgatilov and Epifire, we're talking about fidcal's tutorial if you didn't catch it: http://wiki.thedarkmod.com/index.php?title=A_-_Z_Beginner_Full_Guide_Start_Here!

I hate "changes" when they're not needed, like a website visual change. But surprisingly enough, www.thedarkmod.com's new visuals are incredibly good! Well done, very well done.
BikerdudeThe media section on the main website is woefully out of date.
Jun 20 2018 01:33 PM
Petike the TafferWe'll have to update and expand the Media section, I suppose.
Jun 26 2018 06:45 AM
SpringheelThere are already several new pictures there, and I removed some of the oldest and least evocative ones. I still plan on adding some video links.
Jun 28 2018 09:50 AM
Unexpectedly image_downSize is no longer broken with Bloom in 2.06. Set to 32 for a stylized cartoon look :)
EpifireThat's pretty fantastic. I'd almost wanna try playing an FM that way just to see what it's like.

New stuff is cool... not
nbohr1moreGotta fix the old breakage before making new breakage ya known? (Old developer fortune cookie.)
I think we can still get a little coolness going though...
Let's not get too pessimistic.

Lots of missions I have not played yet
chakkmanIf you haven't played kingsal's ones yet, or the latest Goldwell and Grayman missions, i can highly recommed those.
Jun 10 2018 01:19 PM
Jesps@nbohr1more: Having not done anything Dark Mod related for years now, I had completely forgotten about that mission. I am not even sure I have the files anymore :/
@chakkman: Have to check those missions out.
Jun 10 2018 10:36 PM
Hopefully they are still around in some form. :(
Jun 10 2018 11:58 PM
Doing models fo TDM...
Jun 10 2018 03:48 AM
EpifireWelcome aboard! We definitely could use more all around.
Jun 13 2018 03:48 AM
Petike the TafferYou're a skillful owl ! :-) Keep up the good work. 8-)

I saw the trailer for Robin Hood (2018) and thought it was the Thief movie for a second...
The biggest mistake the "Microsoft support" scammers made, was giving me their phone number. Oh, the simple joys of wasting their time and annoying them. If enough people did this, these scams would collapse under the sheer number of failures.
kanoThe longer we keep them on the line, the less they can actually rip people off. The other day I asked one to fix my Linux computer. Boy, did that get him mad! At that point you're making it obvious that you're just toying with them.
Jun 07 2018 03:39 PM
AndersonI don't think so.

nbohr1moreCommited slider at rev 15227
Jun 04 2018 08:40 PM
Petike the TafferI think it should be provided officially. It's easy to patch via the updater, right ?
Jun 06 2018 01:40 AM
SpringheelMaybe bring it up in the dev forums?
Jun 06 2018 03:31 PM
can somebody fix the mainpage of our site? http://forums.thedarkmod.com/topic/19469-new-layout-error/
nbohr1moreCheck now? :)
Jun 03 2018 03:55 PM
SpringheelIt's under construction at the moment.
Jun 03 2018 06:31 PM
Testing the 2.06 release: thanks to all involved, it's compiled also 64bit, incredible release! :-D
TarhielMy bad, I can see the .exe in the folder now. Disregard my question, I have thought that maybe 64 bit version has to install separately.
Jun 03 2018 10:57 AM
nbohr1moreYeah, the quality levels were designed somewhat subjectively based on testing in Requiem. Also try different r_softShadowsRadius values. You may find that a softer shadow at a lower quality level is better than just increasing quality alone.
Jun 03 2018 11:04 AM
Petike the TafferOh, so we now have a 32 bit and 64 bit exe ?
