I finally got rid of my old P4 PC & built a new one with a nVidia motherboard (for SLI X 3), Evga video card, intel duo 2/quad core processor, 4.5Gb RAM & stuck it all in to the CoolerMaster nVidia edition tower "Play Hard" so now I have no problems with any game they throw at me biggrin.gif . Thanks to some fix I found at ttlg I don't even have to go into the taskmanager to set affinity for T2 anymore, just that was awesome!

 

Nothing lags, crystal clear picture...Awesome!!

 

Anyways, Demagogue I really liked this mission! But I can't find my way into the lab & that's my last stop everything else is completed. I may have missed the topic somewhere, but got pretty bored of reading all the stuff about linear things, fake door/window wallpaper etc. so I may have missed it. Can you spoil me?

 

P.S. I did read about the dude who jumps out at you in the warehouse before I even got there, but yeah it did scare the crap out of me when I reached that door...

 

P.S.S. How is Dark Radiant compared to T3Ed ? I was able to build maps with T3Ed, but never got other things to work correctly. Probably because of the old PC, so I gave up. Maybe it was just as well. The Dark Mod seems much more realistic smile.gif

My hobby built desktop is: XFX Play Hard-nVidia nForce 790i Ultra SLI

Onboard is:

CPU: Intel Socket 775

VGA: nVidia GeForce EVGA GTX-260

RAM: DDRIII 16Gb

HDD: 2 Tb

OS: 64bit Win 8.1

All service packs and latest drivers installed.

Can you spoil me?

 

I think there are two ways in,

but one is through a window. If you see the ledge with the table and chairs on it and look towards the lab, you'll see the window you need to get to.

The other way in is

when you get on Harlan's roof, turn right, walk forward, and drop down on the little outing's roof. You'll see a window across from you, to the right a little, on Soren's house. You can open that and get in that way too.

What do you see when you turn out the light? I can't tell you but I know that it's mine.

      Turns out my 15th anniversary mission idea has already been done once or twice before! I've been beaten to the punch once again, but I suppose that's to be expected when there's over 170 FMs out there, eh?       I wanna play Doom 3, but fhDoom has much better features than dhewm3, yet fhDoom is old, outdated and probably not supported. Damn!
      Makes me think that TDM engine for Doom 3 itself would actually be perfect.

      Maybe a bit of advice ? In the FM series I'm preparing, the two main characters have the given names Toby and Agnes (it's the protagonist and deuteragonist, respectively), I've been toying with the idea of giving them family names as well, since many of the FM series have named protagonists who have surnames. Toby's from a family who were usually farriers, though he eventually wound up working as a cobbler (this serves as a daylight "front" for his night time thieving). Would it make sense if the man's popularly accepted family name was Farrier ? It's an existing, though less common English surname, and it directly refers to the profession practiced by his relatives. Your suggestions ?

      Looks like the "Reverse April Fools" releases were too well hidden. Darkfate still hasn't acknowledge all the new releases. Did you play any of the new April Fools missions?
