Very BEAUTIFUL! Thanks for the link too.

Here is my contribution.
I subscribe to the National Geographic magazine and some of their electron microscope images are amazing.

This one is my favourite of 2013. Weird, huh? :D

Those snowflake photos are awesome, and the jury rigged camera even more so.

There is a bunch of electron microscopy images of Cthulhian Monsters over here:
http://www.telegraph...nd-spiders.html

I always wanted to use our device for such photos, but specimen aquisition, sample preparation and free time proved to be problematic combination. And in the end, why bother because those are readily available on the 'net already... ;)

I just read spiders in your link, Sotha. I shouldn't open that, right? :D As a side note, I once asked orbweaver to change his tarantula-avatar because I was tired of blocking it everytime I installed a new browser.^^

And on the topic of electron microscopy, would this make Karras jealous? :o

This recent article shows the first insect found in nature with mechanical gears!

I like the "reindeer arrow" the most. I wonder what effect it causes.

The antlers are sharp, so I expect the effect is a very sore butt. :D

Haha. Something similar to the moss arrow is what I had in mind; spreading forth aromatic pine sprigs, pretty baubles and tinsel at your feet.

Which must also result in a very sore butt.....
