Problem launching mission "Solar Escape 1" [SOLVED]

I have a problem on running this mission: when loading the mission (after the brefing) I have a seg fault.

normally I would re dmap a map in case it was a compile error, but it wont dmap and crashes around about the same place.

i dont get a segfault, I just get a windows 7 popup saying the program has stopped.

Runs fine here which is odd. Windows 7 64bit

We did have an issue with the wrought iron fence but Tr00pertj updated that to the 2.0 version and that fixed the crash.

It was occurring right as the load bar got to the end of loading.

the files listed in the link as causing the segfault, are not the files in the solarescape1.pk4 file

these are the files listed as causing problems

models/darkmod/architecture/fencing/fence_spike_01_tall_1_segments.ase
models/darkmod/architecture/fencing/fence_spike_01_tall.ase

and these are the model files in solarescape1.pk4 file

fence_spike_01_tall_2_segments.ase
fence_spike_01_tall_4_segments.ase

just done a test map and this model version 1.08

fence_spike_01_tall_1_segments.ase

causes a segfault, its in the solarescape1.map and there's no replacement for it.

There is a replacement for it in 2.0 and Springheel apparently gave it to Tr00pertj to fix the map crash during beta testing.

The map was crashing on everyone's system in beta testing and he was suppose to fix that which is why anyone can play it now.

We need to get Tr00pertj and Springheel involved as they are the source pair that dealt with this.

I sent them a PM to this thread.

He fixed the others included in the .pk4 and he is still working on the 01 fences. When done he said he would intergrate that into the mission then up load it.

I can suggest removing the offending fence models I think there are 3-4 at the ends of the longer fences on the patio and the garden wall. They are just the single one post spike fence.
