Here is a run of "Betrayal". I have some initial troubles with the mission from getting stuck on ledges and clipping through small climbable objects but there you go.

 

 

Also fixed my creeping controls and found a neat way to bunny hop around without alerting guards....

Aside from dimming the lights and playing at 3 AM, I've taken to running through TDM missions, with style. Most of the time I end up playing the missions 3-4 times over, though I do get ahead of mysel

Deceptive Shadows is done. I could have done a little better on this one, but had some difficulty with it initially, then again, I haven't seen a completed run of it on Youtube yet...

Yup, game said 'Mission complete', so mission completed even though you then died during the fadeout (which I've never seen before and think deserves an award on its own).

 

And mantling onto that pumpkin at the end is exactly what I was hoping you'd do. :P

Illusionist's Tower is done, I enjoyed it quite a bit, it's always good to have this kind of variety in fan missions.

Well, it's always fun seeing your own mission being played, and after seeing how you blitz through these things I'd love to see you play Requiem at some point.

I don't want to chuck down requests so I'm going to attempt doing both Requiem and Inn Business.

 

Simultaneously!? I can't wait to see that, or a mash-up, load both maps so they overlap and see if you even move through the resulting maze...

I saw that appear in the in-game downloader, but I will definitely try this FM next.

Thanks. I honestly could have done a more better time, it was mostly the platforming that kicked my ass more than anything, platforming is my worst enemy.

      Turns out my 15th anniversary mission idea has already been done once or twice before! I've been beaten to the punch once again, but I suppose that's to be expected when there's over 170 FMs out there, eh? I'm not complaining though, I love learning new tricks and taking inspiration from past FMs. Best of luck on your own fan missions!

      I wanna play Doom 3, but fhDoom has much better features than dhewm3, yet fhDoom is old, outdated and probably not supported. Damn!
      Makes me think that TDM engine for Doom 3 itself would actually be perfect.

      Maybe a bit of advice ? In the FM series I'm preparing, the two main characters have the given names Toby and Agnes (it's the protagonist and deuteragonist, respectively), I've been toying with the idea of giving them family names as well, since many of the FM series have named protagonists who have surnames. Toby's from a family who were usually farriers, though he eventually wound up working as a cobbler (this serves as a daylight "front" for his night time thieving). Would it make sense if the man's popularly accepted family name was Farrier ? It's an existing, though less common English surname, and it directly refers to the profession practiced by his relatives. Your suggestions ?
