I did 5 more alien species md5mesh models(and a new reptile head)

Hello there homeslicios.

 

I completed 5 more character models for my game:

 

I call these ones the Insecturans (because they look like insects - very clever I know):

 

 

These ones are called the Machinulans (because they are part machine - noticing a trend?):

 

These are the Malinurans (for anyone who took Spanish - you know the word mal = bad):

 

These are the Cerebturans:

 

And finally, just today I finished the character model for the Transitorians:

 

I also did a reptile head for another species I did in January:

Now that I've completed the character models for all the alien species I'll need in my game - I'm going to be doing three critter-type creatures that I will post about when they are completed.

Those Insecturans look amazing. Are you going to release these? as I would love to put them in an FM.. they sort of remind me of those creepy Thief 2 stickman creature thingys. But i'm always cautious about posts like yours because they usually follow the typical "hey look at this awesome stuff I made which looks incredible" and then they disappear forever to never release it and the post gets buried.

 

So with that said do you have an ETA on these? or is this all teaser stuff?

I'm actually going to try to eventually sell them as part of my game. I made a post while back about it on here:

I don't have a concrete ETA. I want to have a version of my game that I can start taking around to game jams and other events this summer or fall and have people play.

 

If however, my project is a complete failure or it doesn't seem like it is going to make any money - I'll be more than happy to put them out there under CC BY-SA or something similar - probably on http://opengameart.org/

I'm under impression that getting a fully animated and rigged character into D3 is a difficult task, and there you have a bunch of them!

On topic, the models look good, I like the robotic models you've made, the Machinulans, getting a Borg/Aliens android/cyborg vibe from it. Keep up the good work!
