Indeed, it looks very nice. I am curious as to what some of her abilities do (like the one, where she holds the fae of person in her hand). I think I will get this at some point, although I still have to finish a couple of other games...

It's a perfect Dishonored experience (I'm playing it).

Here's an odd one that some people I know are exited about:

Not my cup of tea but they are loving it here: https://forum.pleasu...topic=31682&hl=
These cartoon from the 30's and 40's are amazing and I have a lot of them but I need more content and complication (for lack of a better word) to be into a game.
And really do not play 21 with the devil it is not worth whatever he rewards I have been playing since either 1977 or 1987 I am not sure and I have nothing but sorrow and misery to show for it. Unless of course your Cross-Eyed Mary whereas: "She signs no contract but she always plays the game" and she beats the devil every time from what I gather.

That animation style is neat. And your forum link seems broken.

Sorry its a retro gaming site that uses torrents for MAME and the like, so I am a member so it will work or registered users. BTW the site has a collection of retro games from say Atari 2600 to whatever and also Arcade and Pinball as well as Fruit Machines if anyone liked that type of thing, but they focus mainly on late 70's to early 90s arcade content.

The link to the forum still works for me.

I always assumed I'd taste like boot leather.

A generic question - why don't the automatic quality setting work properly with modern CPU and GPU
I ask because Death of the Outsider just used Medium on Auto yet on Ultra it never drops below 60fps
Posted 13 October 2017 - 12:59 PM
Most Auto checks are not performance based but hardware list based.
If you have an older generation i5 and a decent video card like GTX 1070, you might be able to do ultra at 30-60 fps, but auto picks conservative settings so you're almost guaranteed a good experience.
Other games like Overgrowth will actually run benchmarks to see what your hardware is capable of, and adjust accordingly.
I always assumed I'd taste like boot leather.

The trailer looks like a big nope. It's like a Gothic game, with all its bugs and quirks, that also wants to be Borderlands or Fallout 4. And in terms of art style it looks disjointed:
Eurogamer review seem to confirm some of that: http://www.eurogamer...-18-elex-review

This, on the other hand, seems rather interesting, despite crude facial animations:
A giant building that sets up an army of clones against you, which can learn and exploit your moves / playstyle? Seems like an awesome idea. Oh, and it's a stealth game from ex-IO devs.

I see that Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus is now out but I won't be touching it at that price - give it a year or so then perhaps
Or then again perhaps not as it doesn't really appeal

+1, even the game CD sites are a close the the £30 mark. Once its gets to £20 will prolly get it.

I had quite some hopes for that one. Unfortunately, it disappointed me... the combat system is quite bad IMO, and the game world isn't as detailled as their older games, plus that mix of sci-fi and middle age fantasy wasn't my cup of tea really. It got very mixed reactions from players and press too. If you asked me, save the money, and maybe buy it for 15 € one day or so, to have a look. I find both the Gothic's and the Risen's better. As far as i read, the skills hardly have an influence on the gameplay either...

Not really new but I just started playing Crysis (the original) in 64 bit DX10 with everything set to max quality with my new rig and an AH IPS 1920 x 1080 screen and the picture quality is absolutely amazing even if the AI is rather rubbish
To add the fps seems to sit above 75fps all the time

Indeed and it just shows the leap it made at the time
Of course to get the full effects at that time you needed two top flight and very expensive graphics cards in SLI configuration now a single mid range card does it (GTX 1060)

I'm definitely late to the party, but Doom 2016 is deliciously good, at least in moderate doses.

Have played it a few weeks ago, but not for long. I find it extremely repetetive and boring. Doom 3 was way better.
