Hacking the DNC and RNC, releasing negative information about the Democrats, spreading fabricated stories through social media...those appear ones that all intelligence agencies agree on. I'm not sure what the consensus on the evidence for them attempting to hack voting machines is.

"Hacking the DNC and RNC" was determined to be "Phishing spam emails" in the latest Intelligence reports.

Thus "not really hacks" but instead the same kinda spam emails that everyone is vulnerable to.

The Podesta and DNC leaks were attributed to Russian hackers by "Crowdstrike" a DNC funded security company with ties to the Ukraine.

The FBI and the DHS were not given access to the DNC servers. They were "told by the DNC what Crowdstrike told them".

One security researcher seems to have debunked the Russian claim completely:

I was pointing out what the Intelligence Community agreed on fairly recently, but I won't claim to be totally up to date on the topic. If those details above have been confirmed by the Intelligence Community, I'd be interested in reading about them.

If it's coming from the same folks that brought us the "Pizzagate Child Sex Ring", however, I'm not going to be very impressed.

This has changed angles a bit from where I started so I just want it on record: I don't think companies should be DOXing or threatening to DOX people period, that should be a law enforcement affair, if that.

Absolutely in agreement. I'd like to know who signed off on that idea.

For fuck's sake CNN. You fucking idiots.

This just gives Trump more ammunition to point at and say, "See? I told you so. The media are not to be trusted", which further reduces the respect people have for the media, which further improves Trump's position. How can the media act like they can keep the Government accountable if their reputation is tarnished by doing this shit and no-one can trust their reporting anymore? Come on CNN, get your act together.

I actually wanted to be a journalist when I was in high school but between CNN, Gawker and the media's general behavior over the last decade you can understand why that has all but vanished.

I like to record difficult stealth games, and right now you wonderful people are the only ones delivering on that front.

Click here for the crappy channel where that happens.

Time and time again there will be people who prove that good journalism doesn't always stem from an undergraduate degree in sociology or anything.

Real journalism is a mad dog that barks at anyone and digs until it gets to the truth.

"I really perceive that vanity about which most men merely prate — the vanity of the human or temporal life. I live continually in a reverie of the future. I have no faith in human perfectibility. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active — not more happy — nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago. The result will never vary — and to suppose that it will, is to suppose that the foregone man has lived in vain — that the foregone time is but the rudiment of the future — that the myriads who have perished have not been upon equal footing with ourselves — nor are we with our posterity. I cannot agree to lose sight of man the individual, in man the mass."...

Phishing Email is the only "hack":

Even if that were true, I don't understand why it's relevant.

Even just using the article you link to in your post:

"Russian military intelligence executed a cyberattack on at least one U.S. voting software supplier and sent spear-phishing emails to more than 100 local election officials just days before last November’s presidential election, according to a highly classified intelligence report obtained by The Intercept."

"The report indicates that Russian hacking may have penetrated further into U.S. voting systems than was previously understood."

"The assessment concluded with high confidence that the Kremlin ordered an extensive, multi-pronged propaganda effort “to undermine public faith in the US democratic process, denigrate Secretary Clinton, and harm her electability and potential presidency.”"

"Russian government hackers, part of a team with a “cyber espionage mandate specifically directed at U.S. and foreign elections,” focused on parts of the system directly connected to the voter registration process"

That all seems to validate my original point.

Calling a "spam email" a hack is Orwellian newspeak by tech illiterates.

A real hack involves penetrating the network and security infrastructure of the hosting

servers.

The media and some government officials are trying to conflate "hack", "spam", and "leak".

The only hacking that we actually have evidence of is the Awan Brothers.

I don't know how we can put so much faith in the findings of a security firm paid for by the DNC. It's a bit like how retail food chains will pay a private company to do health inspections so they can avoid penalties the state might impose on them. The DNC needs to turn their servers over to an independent agency like the FBI. What are they afraid of? A second opinion will only corroborate the facts.

Does anyone actually use the Normalise button in the Surface inspector? Even after looking at the code I'm not quite sure what it's for.

Turns out my 15th anniversary mission idea has already been done once or twice before! I've been beaten to the punch once again, but I suppose that's to be expected when there's over 170 FMs out there, eh? I'm not complaining though, I love learning new tricks and taking inspiration from past FMs. Best of luck on your own fan missions!

I wanna play Doom 3, but fhDoom has much better features than dhewm3, yet fhDoom is old, outdated and probably not supported. Damn!
Makes me think that TDM engine for Doom 3 itself would actually be perfect.

Maybe a bit of advice ? In the FM series I'm preparing, the two main characters have the given names Toby and Agnes (it's the protagonist and deuteragonist, respectively), I've been toying with the idea of giving them family names as well, since many of the FM series have named protagonists who have surnames. Toby's from a family who were usually farriers, though he eventually wound up working as a cobbler (this serves as a daylight "front" for his night time thieving). Would it make sense if the man's popularly accepted family name was Farrier ? It's an existing, though less common English surname, and it directly refers to the profession practiced by his relatives. Your suggestions ?

Looks like the "Reverse April Fools" releases were too well hidden. Darkfate still hasn't acknowledge all the new releases. Did you play any of the new April Fools missions?
