What Is Everyone Reading?

I actually did not know that Good Omens was co-authored by Neil Gaiman (or rather did not recognise the name), although I loved the book and have read it several times. I just recently discovered him as an author through American Gods (the Amazon show first, then I read the book, because I wanted to know how it ends). I knew that he had his hands in the Spawn comic series (and the ensuing copyright discussion that led to the character Angela now belonging to Marvel), but never thought of him as a book author...

I myself am currently reading the Witcher novels after loving the games. One of my favourite series would be the "Malazan Book of the Fallen" series by Steven Erikson. Very complex, tons of characters, but definitely worth reading. And one very positive thing (in contrast to Song of Ice and Fire): it is finished.

Ha, the Witcher novels are fantastic. Definitely an enjoyable read. And Neil Gaiman has his hands in a lot of things, but as far as I remember he started out as a novelist. He did the Sandman graphic novels, he wrote a couple episodes for Doctor Who, and he does a fair bit of collaborations with other authors (as shown by Good Omens). But if you are looking to read more of Gaiman, pick up his book "Neverwhere". It's a wonderful urban fantasy novel (one of his first I believe), and I think that its setting will appeal to a lot of Dark Mod fans.

Finally got my PC back from the shop after my SSD got corrupted a week ago and damaged my motherboard. Scary stuff, but thank goodness it happened right after two months of FM development instead of wiping all my work before I could release it. New SSD, repaired Motherboard and BIOS, and we're ready to start working on my second FM with some added version control in the cloud just to be safe!

I've updated the articles for your FMs and your author category at the wiki. Your newer nickname (DeTeEff) now comes first, and the one in parentheses is your older nickname (Fieldmedic). Just to avoid confusing people who played your FMs years ago and remember your older nickname. I've added a wiki article for your latest FM, Who Watches the Watcher?, as part of my current updating efforts. Unless I overlooked something, you have five different FMs so far.

I've finally managed to log in to The Dark Mod Wiki. I'm back in the saddle and before the holidays start in full, I'll be adding a few new FM articles and doing other updates. Written in Stone is already done.
