Come the time of peril, did the ground gape, and did the dead rest unquiet 'gainst us. Our bands of iron and hammers of stone prevailed not, and some did doubt the Builder's plan. But the seals held strong, and the few did triumph, and the doubters were lain into the foundations of the new sanctum. -- Collected letters of the Smith-in-Exile, Civitas Approved

Nice. Stats don't include campaigns, so there were many more missions for T2 this year. But I don't think any of the campains I've played had as much value to me as e.g. new Kingsal's mission. Quality over quantity.

Indeed but considering how much playtime comes out of our community for folks that are working on their own free time, I think we still give'em a run for their money.

EDIT: Okay reallly think about it. We provide more consistent hours of Single Player content per year than nearly any AAA studio in the industry. Where a single company can afford to put out descent content in shortest of two to three year intervals. Be proud of that folks, because it really speaks volumes as to what a great mod community can accomplish.

if you are doing a 12 hour shift, 6 days out of seven, with 2 hours traveling time then there isn't much time left over to work on a map.

You mean commute?

"I really perceive that vanity about which most men merely prate — the vanity of the human or temporal life. I live continually in a reverie of the future. I have no faith in human perfectibility. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active — not more happy — nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago. The result will never vary — and to suppose that it will, is to suppose that the foregone man has lived in vain — that the foregone time is but the rudiment of the future — that the myriads who have perished have not been upon equal footing with ourselves — nor are we with our posterity. I cannot agree to lose sight of man the individual, in man the mass."...

Very nice.

I always assumed I'd taste like boot leather.

Interestingly some of the most productive FM authors could build so much due to building during their long commutes (on a train; doesn't work if you're driving of course). I recall Frobber built Keeper of the Prophecies during his commute.

Imagine seeing someone build a TDM map on the train. That'd be a sight.
