Ok so I have found a place who can print this for me by tomoz for £30, all I will have to do then sand it, do a coat of primer, then a coat of gold (I'll pick these up from Hobbycraft)

After all is said and done, pls let me know what I can contribute toward these efforts.

So collected the model, but the guy took 3 attempts to get it right so I have 1 good one and 2 that need a bit of work. Gonna paint the nice one and give that to Gary's mum tomorrow.

Ok so having 1mm of surface thickness dosen't allow for much surface prep... The next one of these is gonna be made from Steel or lead and then anodised or painted or painted in gold.

Instead of sanding it down try building it up with auto body filler. Then you should be able to sand it smooth and paint.

Normally I would have, but only had last night to work on it.

Looks good!

I always assumed I'd taste like boot leather.

That's a fine thing.

Come the time of peril, did the ground gape, and did the dead rest unquiet 'gainst us. Our bands of iron and hammers of stone prevailed not, and some did doubt the Builder's plan. But the seals held strong, and the few did triumph, and the doubters were lain into the foundations of the new sanctum. -- Collected letters of the Smith-in-Exile, Civitas Approved

Funeral was somber, but had some of Sir Taff music playing. Am currently out with his best mate and his friend in clapam junction.
