Well, I like the update. I'll be honest in that I'm happy with the old look of 2.05 for now and so those cvars which enable the 2.05 render are fine with me. I do enable the "uncapped" (but not really) option because the extra frames make tearing not quite as obvious when running with vsync off. Still a little miffed that the menu screens still have that slightly floaty mouse feeling that I was whinging on about before, but really, when you spend 99% of the game within the actual game and not the menus, I can deal with it. Wouldn't mind it being resolved but hardly going to push for it.
In terms of other issues, can't say I've seen much yet. I could have sworn I heard a Builder have some different quotes or a different voice actor for a mission I'd finished prior to the upgrade, but that's it so far.
BTW, r_nvidiaOverride doesn't really give any details as to what it does. I know that having it on or off is part of the equation in determining what graphics options/renderer will be enabled, but I don't get the "override" bit. What are we overriding? I have an NVIDIA card, that's about all I know in connection to it.
