Hiccup when loading in audio files?

Not totally sure about this.

 

I've heard about a delay/ hiccup when certain sounds play? Someone reported a noticeable lag in one of my missions right where a conversation starts. I haven't been able to reliable reproduce this, but I seem to remember this happen to me a couple time before. 

 

Is it possible that the audio files for conversations are being loaded on the spot instead of on map load? 

 

Once again, just speculation.

Hmm...

 

We default to "s_realTimeDecoding 1".

 

I wonder if offline audio decoding even works? If so it might help here.
