Hey, Im an amateur programmer, was thinking about learning some game coding after learning basic web development, I was just curious what languages the game and editor use but I found the answer by searching for language. I use python and web languages but no C or C++ yet because Im barely out of the gates Anyways Im not only into thief style games but theres a warcraft 3 mod going on, basically cloning the game to starcraft 2 engine, free to play, which is creating a lot of hype and is going to be sweet for people who love RTS, with better graphics, smoothness etc. Just wanted to say if anyone was interested to help collaborate in the warcraft 3 clone you can check the project here : http://www.moddb.com/mods/waa-mod For now, Im gonna get more back into dark mod, and thief and look forward to some large missions on here.   2. Hi I also had a few quick suggestions. Mine proximity radius could be increased, and a better graphical explosion than the current one. I wish you could kill multiple zombies with one mine, kinda like in the old t1-2, as well as body parts flying around. I feel I have a sword I should be able to eventually kill a zombie, maybe make them tough- take 6 hits to kill. Or hackable-off body limbs like in t2x. I say this because I just played Glenham and it was a good mission though some things could be enhanced- . Obv this takes a lot of work so take these ideas for what theyre worth. Also I think itd be nice to be able to fire arrows in faster succession, as when enemies running at you sometimes the bow sticks and wont draw fast enough after loosing an arrow. Uhm- holy water arrows should be able to do splash so zombies grouped within a small area are all damaged with 1 arrow, rather than 2 arrows for every zombie. It was kind of like that in t1-2. Cant think of more stuff at the moment but I will later, Thx.

  4. Yeah ok thanks. I guess I just like having copies of all the missions on hand so I can copy/paste it onto a friends computer for convenience and organization. Is there any news on the 5 or so missions that arent available? I forgot part 2 of my question 1 above. Do the FMs change somewhat after a patch like 2.02 ? Im wondering if some bugs in the missions were fixed, therefore Id have to re download them, and hence it would be nice to have a big file where all the missions are compiled for a one click download. Thanks
  5. Hi, First just wanted to say this game is amazing. Congrats to the dev team on a remarkable game that keeps the thief legacy continuing. Honestly the new thief 4 release wasnt up to my standards and it seems its been corporatized for the masses, this mod though is kick ass and Id like to throw some ideas to the dev team as I think I and a friendof mine can add some suggestions, in fact I had some ideas about a large community campaign with a story that offshoots from the end of thief 3. It would be cool to develop a set of large map templates that could fit together and allow the player to do missions within the world, kind of like the thief 3 model where you go to different regions of the city and complete parts of the campaign. More sidemissions within the main plot would add some depth and intrigue. Later ill compile these ideas and share them with the community, though Im pushed for time atm. Anyways, had a couple questions about the missions page. 1. Is there a way to lump all the missions into one download link rather than clicking each one ? This 2. Also, maybe the chart could add a few more details, such as, availability (noticed about 5 missions are unavailable to download), rating (1-10 scale rated by community), and series ( whether they are part of a series or mini campaign). 3. How can I suggest ideas to the dev team or help be a think tank for them? I think we can all agree a large community collaboration on a big campaign project would be desirable over single missions that dont have the same relevance and suspenseful plot as the original thief 1-3 games. Granted yes a big project like this isnt an easy task but with more community volunteers it could be accomplished. We the people want a big in depth campaign with a riveting storyline and maybe an offshoot of where garretts story left off at t3.. Anyways, will check in later. Cheers to ya taffers
  6. jsut wanted to let community know in case you dont that the misison alchemist has a bug near the ned when you try to escape, you cant get through the metal grate because of some pathing issues
