Er, yes. My user number is 666. I'm not a Christian, and numerology is bollocks as well, so none of this "number of the beast" nonsense, please.

One step forward, two steps back. The last set, about 3 weeks ago, had clipping, and wasn't worth posting here. I'm waiting on more retakes. Where exactly is the UK studio? It might be more convenient for her to record them there.
  2. This doesn't matter to me, since I'm accustomed to the telekinetic handling of lifting objects, opening doors, and picking locks without visible hands out in front of me doing it, but Morrowind handled lockpicking with a visible arm. When you equipped a lockpick, you'd see your arm holding it out in front of you, and if you were close enough to a door to use it, your arm would just sort of sweep forward in a vague gesture at the door and play either the success or failure lockpick sound. Very abstract. Not much different than the telekinetic approach.
  3. I didn't feed the homeless guy. I was looking for some special food that would go into my inventory. I didn't think I'd have to pick up some food and carry it out in front of me, back to him...
  4. The mission should end when you get to that invisible wall. I don't think there's really anything on the other side. The next mission begins on the other side of that little corridor. Are there any other required mission objectives that haven't been met? If not, then I'd say just consider yourself to have finished the mission.
  5. The pub is The people inside aren't hostile toward you. There are a couple of secrets in but one of them is locked with a key I couldn't find.
  6. If you're hitting the invisible wall, then I'm guessing you
  7. Two warning sounds that come to mind that would fit the tech level are fog horns and steam whistles. Then there's the air raid siren or the submarine diving alarm, both of which are motor driving vibratory horns that could be hand-cranked or driven by steam as well. (Example: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/3/37/Alarm_-_Diving_-_H8.ogg)

I'll let her know. As for a conversion to OGG, BeSweet can do that. It might also have the option to normalise the volume. http://besweet.notrace.dk/ I checked and found that the latest version of WinFF supports batch conversion of MP3 to OGG, and it's much more user-friendly than BeSweet. Also, I confirmed that you can amplify the audio with it at the same time. Just add "-vol 5000" under the "Options>Additional Command Line Parameters" tab. (5000 may still be a little too quiet. Try maybe up to 6000?) Anyway, here's WinFF: http://www.winpenpack.com/main/download.php?view.1093

Here we are with a first batch. She apologises for the delay, and promises another batch shortly. Unexpectedly, she actually broke the vocals up into separate files based on the samples I sent her. Unfortunately, I notice the lines are very quiet and need amplifying. Do you have a batch utility to do that? Here's the file as they are: http://www.sendspace.com/file/oa9haj
  10. No, you have to find a way to get back up to the rafters and out the window like you came in. Can't remember how I did it, but I did. The governor's place is
  11. Or, for a hint on how to get up there... As for the letter, someone on here said that the wrong side of the paper is facing up, and that's why it's blank. If you rotate the paper to the other side, can you read it?
  12. I have seen complaints about it before, on this forum.
  13. It is, but people are still using it! The papers are called "readables", but this font is anything but.

The actress has the script, all the feedback, and sample lines to listen to from the other sets, but I don't know if she's plowed through them all yet.
  15. Don't forget to use Diego's salt arrows and pepper arrows in that soup!
