  1. @Atheran welcome back, and you sure sound a lot more knowledgeable than me about modelling now. For me modelling is just part of my toolset as an FM author for getting things done, alongside sound/image editing and scripting, so I'm glad to see a (newly baked) specialist in this field returning to the forums. Regarding the tools, Lightwave isn't obligatory. Arcturus and I use Blender, while I know others use/used 3dsmax, softimage and wings3d. As long as it produces .lwo or .ase models it's all good.

  3. I just found this old map on my computer and I'm blown by the fact that I can run it with SSAO on and Soft Shadows and in this view I'm getting over 70fps, when I used to struggle to get 30-40 fps with none of those options even available. Holy crap nice work devs (2.08 beta 2 btw)

  4. Ok, I fixed the skin defs in the mission and the lamps render now. I'll have to update the mission in the database once 2.08 is released.

  5. Pretty much since bikerdude posted that invitation for public testing we've been working without interruptions (6200 Discord messages to date) on getting the mission into a polished state. Betatesting has been on hold while everything from the briefing to voiceovers, conversations, readables, main story, scripting and balancing was getting revised or implemented. That's all virtually done now, so at the moment we're making quite a unique bonus area (mostly it's bikerdude building and myself scripting) before we resume betatesting, which will be announced by a post in this forum. The mission has really undergone a metamorphosis since the last test build and I'm looking forward to seeing it happen.

  6. Wow! Wow! Wow! I really enjoyed this mission. Can't go into detail as I can't remember how to hide on here lol but I loved it. I really liked the extra objectives that were added as well as the Challenges. Took them all on except for the lava, will save that for a second play through. Thanks for all your hard work. Look forward to more from you.

  8. I found some full versions on moddb, but they are huge for small hosters. (version 2.0 and 2.0.7) But if people host those differential updates, i think that it take a smaller size. If there other hosters hosting those files, please let me know. I succeeded to follow links to direct links to one moddb dbolical mirror servers, downloading and unpacking the files. Added links for 2.0 full and 2.01 dif and hope those direct links are not temporary. Updated the sourcecode on my github repo. -edit- Yes, those direct links to dbolical mirror servers are temporary. So i have to find other mirrors (without temporary links).

  9. At this moment i'm working on a new feature of the tdm installer for windows, that does right that. I only need to know the locations where i can download the old packages. Going to test if i can download the files from moddb. (but a more static mirror location, would be nice)

  12. I can not dmap anything with 2.08/64 #8660 Linux, though if I run the windows 64bit binary via wine, dmap works fine. In linux it gets stuck right here. The sound cuts out and the game locks up, requiring the process to be closed manually:
