  4. Thanks for the encouraging feedback. I'm glad you enjoyed it. I agree with you about the stark lines of the factory and occasional mismatching seams- this is something I'm aiming to do better in my next mission. The guard you mention is very thorough, but he also has a very long patrol route so the observant thief should be able to avoid getting cornered. A few people have mentioned how hard the loot is to find so I'll put up a few hints in my OP.

  5. I've heard that a lot of companies (like Apple) will not like it. They would prefer a more neutral party like SoftBank, or more of a joint venture between several stakeholders. I'm not sure what improvements Nvidia ownership would bring to a consumer. More frequent additions to the Tegra lineup, more Jetson Nano style dev boards, a lock on future Nintendo console hardware (ARM + Nvidia GPU)? Their ARM customizations could be made more official. None of that seems to matter. Let me know if I am missing something. The real thing keeping ARM Holdings honest is the threat of businesses switching to RISC-V. ARM Holdings has already adjusted licensing to counter RISC-V.

  7. Finished this one last night. Went with Ghost, despite the no-knockouts, since I figured it would be a very small mission. Which it was, but as mentioned, potentially quite tricky. I loved the verticality, and the fact that it was super easy to climb your way up to the top floor, and then drop back down. Especially since I ended up needing more running back and forth than I would've ever imagined, and I couldn't be bothered to be very sneaky about it. As far as loot goes Other than that Obviously not a long mission, but for a first effort it's a decent one. Considering the ease of movement, you could even make it actually require ghosting, so that people like me don't just make mockery out of stealth, but that's neither here nor there. Good job in any case.

  8. I'm looking for live shows in HD too. Here's The Jimmy Hendrix Experience, shot in Maui on July 30, 1970. Drums seem to be overdubbed as they don't match the footage.

  12. I find myself getting stuck a lot too. Some of the worst offenders are the sheet-covered furniture pieces, or any sort of clutter in the corners of a room. Since corners are usually nice shadowy places to hide, this can be a problem. I wonder if collision detection can be improved a bit, without introducing exploitable side effects.

  13. No man, Riddick was awesome, but the body awareness was super jank in a lot of situations, having to wait for your body animations to complete before you could do certain things is always bad.

  16. Be happy its not in italy, the midevil currency there included cheese xD (parmesan to be specific). https://money.visualcapitalist.com/the-worlds-strangest-currencies/ I could seriosly not imagine a stealthy thief trying to roll one of those bad boys out of a bank, the sight would have been hilarious.

  17. Some videos from Pink Floyd. Next two were directed by Storm Thorgerson who also designed many of the band's album covers. 1987: Alternative version has more characters in it. Some sources state that this is the original version: 1994: Two clips that were displayed at concerts, I believe also by Thorgerson (though couldn't quickly find sources confirming that):

  18. I'm very curious to see how the 3080 and 3090 compare in real-world benchmarks. The price difference between those two is utterly ridiculous. It also feels like we might see a 3080(Ti) with 16 or 20 Gb in the future in-between those two...

  19. Seconded. I actually find the whole menu look and structure very outdated and clunky, so I'd like to propose a major redesign at some point, and possibly try it myself.

  20. Also try thalers and florins, they're appropriate currency names for a medieval or early modern setting.
