  1. Maybe I will get a fortune for it one day. Who knows.

  2. Ah, that could become a rare item in the future. As far as I remember, CDs used to be more expensive than cassettes, so no wonder people preferred cassettes fully functioning reel-to-reel tape , that is rare as hen's teeth here 8-track and minidisc are also rare I guess this is also common in recording studios, right? Like a Studer reel-to-reel tape recorder.. Nowadays, it's more expensive to buy FLAC audio on HDTracks than to buy CDs. *edit : After I checked again, there were also CD releases that were more expensive than FLAC . Some FLAC audio prices are almost parallel to CDs. Or for people who are looking for DSD, WAV, or ALAC format Spotify, iTunes, or Deezer subscriptions are also cheap

  3. Solder joints are not to hard to repair just give them a little flux then reheat the solder joint untill the metal goes liquid and clear in color and your done. Rinse of flux residue with one of the cleaning solutions made for that kind of work and if you want it to last give the print some laquer that keeps the soldering joints from oxydizing. As for capacitors watch for bulging or leaking and allways replace with new quality caps, that increases equipment lifetime a by a ton. If they have leaked use some white winegar to remove the residue and neutralize the alkalines. Otherwise unless that allready happened it will damage the circuit board and repairs will be much more annoying.

  4. 53 years old and yes it still runs . Had it since i was a child. New rubbers and capacitors and the occasional cleaning and it still plays superbly. One knob lost the metal casing some years back i been looking for a replacement but these machines go for 5 to 7500 here in denmark and parts are damn hard to come by unless you stumble upon someone with a defective unit where the benefit of repairing it outweighs the selling price.

  6. @stgatilov @nbohr1more does this look like something that could be implemented in the TDM engine..?

  7. Sadly yes 2025 seems like a bit of a low year for TDM. I personally know of a handful of missions in active development. But as for their release, I would expect them all to be 2026 releases. For me, I’m still plugging away at Shadows of Northdale Act 3. It seems to have hit a bit of development hell, combined with my busy personal life. I was determined to get it out this year. But it’s looking like another 2026 release too. On the surface it might look grim, but behind the scenes there are some really cool FMs in the works. So I guess we just have to wait until that labour bears its fruit.
