No, the old style can't be used with this version of IPB. The style will be changed over time to get rid of any wierd text colors which are hard to read. Changes suck, eh?

What error message were you getting at the failed login?

I've upgraded IPB to the latest stable version, and since this was a major upgrade (from 2.3.6) I also had to re-do the forum style. Most of the new stuff is in place, but I bet that the logo will be changed. One of the many new features in version 3 is rating of posts and also a "report spammer" ability which will make it easier to single out spam bots and ban then at sight. Hopefully this will stop some of the spam threads we've seen recently. Make sure to empty your browser cache if you're experiencing any problems. And please report any errors etc in this thread. I would just like to bring to your attention that there will be some downtime on the webserver today while we complete some scheduled maintenance. Once the server goes down it should be back up and running as normal within an hour. Regards, ~m2

There are no problems with outgoing emails on the server and I can't see I have seen a delivery failiure for your address either. Checked the spam filter?

Why you have to log in multiple times at the same session from the same computer is beyond me, can't say I've heard about such issues in the current version, nor have I ever experienced it myself. The only thing that changed from the old version to the current version was this setting:

You mean when changing machines? That might be a security measure to stop cookie stealing etc.

I haven't changed any settings, must be the default settings that was changed in the package. 2 MB max size per attachment is just plain silly if you're not uploading bmp's or high ress images.

Actually, that was never touched. But instead of setting the forum widt to 98% in the Liquid-style, I had to set it to 90% because the rte-box was going outside of the main wrapper. Uhm, I guess you're using the liquid style and not the (default) fixed one? Choose your preference at the bottom.
