  4. I've just completed the upgrade from IPB 2.2.x to 2.3.6, the newest official release of IPB. This was done to stay ahead on the IPB version 3 that is currently in the beta stages. Please post any comments, bug notices, etc in this thread. PS: If you have any issues with the new forums, please try to refresh/remove your Internet browser cache. Thanks, ~m2

    Spam

You can turn that off now, greebo, as we've turned off registrations until we've upgraded to the most recent IPB version. That should keep the spammers away for now.
  6. www.asmallorange.com, used them for nearly 4 years.
  7. Want some salt with that statement? The first public NightBlade-Alpha has been made public. Details can be found here.
  8. Since Dalai and some of the other devs have been busy making Alien Swarm, and now Alien Swarm: Infested which hasn't been released yet, Nightblade has been delayed for ages. But now we will be uploading regular alpha builds soon for anyone to download.
  9. Can't believe I beat you to this, guys... And I just got home from a New-Years'-party. Anyways, happy new year!
  10. Have a great Christmas, everyone!
  11. Sounds romantic Congratulations to you both, hope everything works out!

    Man

I don't seee what's so hilarious about it, but it was quite interesting, yes. Luckily he was able to pull himself back in to the plane.
  13. You probably clicked the wrong button in your sleep.
  14. No, there isn't. And as I said in the previous post I haven't experienced this problem. I'm browsing the forum from 3 different computers without having to log in, so this is very strange. But there is a bug of some sort in version 2.2.2 that gives some users this problem, I have no idea why. Hopefully they will release a fix soon.
  15. What the heck are you talking about? Looks perfectly normal to me. I'm at the office today aswell and I didn't have to login, I browsed the forums from home before I went to work. No problems at all. Can you do me a favour and either upgrade your Firefox (if you don't already have the newest version) or try another browser, like Opera. Anyway, don't you use the password manager in Firefox? In Opera I only have to press Ctrl+Enter to be logged in to a website if I've saved the password.
  16. I find it much harder to move my hand from the keyboard to the mouse to just click on a smilie.
  17. I've disabled the "Stronghold cookie" setting which can cause problems when browsing the forum from 2 different computers. See if that works.
  18. Alright, we are apparently not the only ones having problems with this. I visited the IPS Customer/Support Forums and found several threads covering this situation. I'll see if there are posted temporarely solutions or explanations to this behavior. One tip might be not to browse "so many" user profiles between each time you log in.
  19. I haven't noticed this at all. What browser are you guys using? There is a cookie security setting controlling sessions, but it is disabled.
  20. You are right, but I couldn't know that as you didn't include any information. An old Firefox version is known to have this bug IIRC. Update it then, takes 2 minutes.
  21. I guess that won't be a problem. You know, I don't really see the point with the "Quick access" box because there already exist buttons for those functions. Maybe I'll just remove the whole thing.
  22. I have a feeling people don't read my posts.
  23. Ah, yes - it's treating it as a dynamic image for some reason and thus disallowing it cause of security reasons. Now, who in their right mind puts an apostrophe in a filename? That's no good for the Internet.
