So how would people rate each fil out of five? 1 = lowest 5 - highest for me Being compleatly subjective ep1 = 1 - cut jar jar and anikin out and it would be so bad but you wouldnt have a film ep 2 =3 average. Has some good cg and Ewan is good and I like Sam Jackson ep 3= havnt seen yet ep 4 3 average ep 5 1 - best of the series ep 6 3 1/2 to 4 has some good bits but the ewok,s though done in such a way that I dont want to be sick are still stupid I just finished watching 1,2,4,5,6 so my brain is now numb enough to watch 3 tommorow

From reading the start of the book I cant say that that seems much better. However some of the books set after epvi are alot better. I like Zahn's ones especialy. Its funny when you think the best startwars film Epmire, had the least lucas dialog (apparently a lot of improv), and less direction by him than the others. Irvin Kershner made it a really good film. Edit: I think when I see it tommorow Ill turn off my brain before I go in and just try to enjoy it. Like I do with most films to be honest.

I watch the first two, now, for the special effects. Its quite amazing how bad some of it is, the composting of the digital images is terrible in some shots, cant those people see when the lighting is wrong, you do not light an object to be shown outside in white or yellow light! Sun light is blue believe it or not (on film). The second is allot better for that, but still has some very bad joins, Im hoping the third is better. Still all three have some very good ideas in how they were put together and I like working out how some things were done

I’m seeing it on Sunday. I and a few friends have a private box reserved. It is so much better than sitting in a full theatre or among the scum as we call them. We always seem to have a girl on one side who repeats all the lines like she cant understand them and a guy behind us who starts using his mobile. I have to book sat on my desk. I haven’t picked it up yet but I now what the plot is anyway so I don’t think there will be any big surprises, as long as the kids are called Luke and leia
  6. Hum It took me 3hrs 48min to down load it . I really must get a faster connection
  7. Well im up now and so should the mod. I didnt wake up just to find its not out! Ill have to do some modding I suppose until they release it
  8. admin@doom3world.org That should reach BNA
  9. Hay this is a good reason to find out if thief 2 works on winxp 64 EDIT : It does
  10. True. But it must be said Jordan never says something in a hundred words if a thousand will do, and he seems to have serious issues with women. I’ve read then for the story line rather than the books themselves if that makes sense. The story has promise but from book seven, and to some degree before that, he has mired it in unnecessary wordage and extraneous plot. I just hope the next book is as good as a new spring ( the prequel I got the name wrong above)
  11. Its not that uncommon actually, much like teenage sex in the uk actually, we apparently have one of the highest rates in the world. Perhaps they are going their bit to stem off a pension crisis by suring up the younger population? Im sure that is a pension reform Bush could get though. A far example would be when Micheal portilo was blocked in what the tories thought was a safe seat. It is more common in the local elections as far as I know.
  12. Oh he is more honest. I’ve spoken to him a couple of times and exchanged some letters. He certainly can do the job, but he seems to lack the something that would make him a great leader. Perhaps its just me. Its more than long enough since we had a liberal government, there hasn’t been once since 1918, and that was a coalition. The last true liberal government ended at the start of ww1 iirc
  13. Well at least you get an elected second house. Ours is hereditary or appointed by the pm (fictionaly the queen) so its full of cronies. It can also be ignored thanks to the parliament act, so its toothless in both senses of the word. At least Wales and Scotland have some control over their own countries now
  14. The first seven Jordan wheel of time books were ok but he is very long winded and seems to have serious issues regarding women. The last what four books now just seems like filler and not that much happens of interest despite the page count. The prequel was allot better (winters heart iirc) so you never know the next book may be better. edit: spelling
  15. I already voted, at about 10oclock. As for who to vote for why green have less of their own policies than labour, or the new conservative party that it is. I cant say Im a fan of Charles Kennedy as a leader, he is missing somthing, but he is a sensible fellow and I agree with more of the libral policies this time than anyone elses.
  16. I honestly like both. I do have some trouble with some of the voice actors though as they can ruin the book for me. But others like the bbc's lotr series were very good even for an abridged version. While I do prefer to read. I can agree that some audio books add a new dimension to the immersion, some books can gain from a good story teller other don’t. But I cant say hearing it rather than reading it is really better or worse for me. I just prefer to read.
  17. I do as well. I have to be able to watch where I'm going or I feel terrible. Im fine when Im driveing or in the front passenger seat but If I sit in the back or look down at the map for two long when Im navigating I feel really ill.
  18. True but his family is at least. He did write some of the screenplay as well. But I cant see how it can work in (edit) two hours but I will go and see it.
  19. speaking of audiobooks. the next episode of the hitchhikers guide is now available for download/ streaming here http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/hitchhikers/index.shtml?rhppromo
  20. I’ve only just started on gemain to be honest. I’ve just put the order in for American gods, thanks for mentioning it. I can read and write English (sort of). I have a passing familiarity with French as their archaeological coverage is excellent. I can read German very slowly and Japanese (kanji) with the help of a dictionary. I tried to pick up some gallic but I had to give up when my brain started to dribble through my ears.
  21. Well I surprised myself and picked up Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman. A great and very warped book, I wish he would do a sequal. I may have to find my copy of good omens after reading this.
  22. I must admit I haven’t touched war of the worlds since school. I can barley remember it, thanks to the films I can remember I didn’t like it, but that was probably because I had to read it. That holds true for most of the books I was told to read at school. All of them, save Shakespeare, are actually ok. It was being forced to read them I didn’t like, being dyslexic doesn’t help either I suppose  But Shakespeare’s works ( the five or so plays I have endured) are the most boring contrived and plot holed drivel I have ever had the misfortune to read.
  23. Personally I’ve just finished the elenium again. Good books although I hate the ending of the second series it seems so rushed. I am currently reading Going Postal for what must be the fifth time now. Next I may start on the Magician, now I have a copy that doesn’t fall apart. I’ve been thinking of picking up the Clive Cussler books since I saw the film. It was amusing and the books have the potential of being better than the film.
