  3. thanks for the critiques everyone! a few observations: the proportions might be looking weird for now, because it's hard to pick a reference to compare in a girl without legs, hands, and with no way to know where's her belly lol but she's supose to look thin btw (that could be giving her that 'big headed' feel) about her breasts, i kinda like the way they are.. looks 'real' lol like she's not a top model like all actresses on xena for example. but i dont see why it couldnt be changed if you guys want so, that's why i'm posting her progress afterall!

  5. hi macsen about the head size, that would depend on her stature/proportion only. but it can be changed about the breasts, can you be more specific? the overall volume, or cloth wrinkles..? actually, when you mentioned i thought they could be a little more 'up', hehe is that what you meant? though that would make her head seems even bigger, because what makes that impression is the rest of the body, how thin the body is and stuff like that

  7. this is what i have so far. unfortunately i dont have the ammount of time i had before the end of my vacation, so it might take a little longer to finish also i'm trying not to diverge much from the concept, because it's good stuff here's a wip and the reference i used for her face critiques! critiques! I want critiques! lol
  8. wow! that's really awesome! :D i only sugest to play around with the lighting a bit.. maybe bring down the main spot light and add a back light to define the contours. to be honest, i can't say if it would look better, without testing and looking at it myself lol this way is already good enough though
  9. here in my hometown we have a small church that is completely covered with plants, you cant even see the walls anymore. i might take some pictures from it to show you guys it could probably be inspiring for some pagan establishment or something.

    if you really want to learn modelling, you dont have to limit yourself to doom3, look for 3d specialized pages. i suggest www.3dtotal.com lots of great tutorials then you can go to these more doom3 driven to see how you can make the models ingame

  20. a question.. the initial and final position of each animation shouldnt match? considering a walk cycle and a standing animation, for example, the transition to one another is in any way interpolated?
  21. ok, got the low poly for the closet. 534 polygons (triangles this time heh) oddity, (or anyone else) could do the normal maps after i finish unwraping and making the others textures?

  23. hey! what do you think, are they usable? a match set of a dinning room or something forgot the say, its missing the little... 'knobs'? on the closet (i don't know it thats the right word, my english stinks lol)
  24. thanks darkness falls its great to be here! about the animation, needs improvement yes.. but the body will only lean foward while in the middle of the running (a run cycle for example). you can notice that when you're breaking to stop running suddenly, the body leans backwards in the last couple of steps. this way you can retain your balance with the movement of your upper body. of course, i had a bad time trying to reproduce that! lol but i belive the idea is correct
