  1. I noticed the same fade-in/fade-out problem on at least one ambient and a couple of the weather_wind sounds.

     

    I can make a full list at some point, although it's pretty easy for anyone to identify the problem: just play through the ambient/environmental sounds that are used in looping shaders and listen for an obvious silent gap where the loop happens.

     

    It might, in theory, be possible to fix the looping without the source WAVs, if some software which can chop and edit Vorbis audio without re-encoding it is available. The Doom 3 sound shader format supports a "lead-in" sound which is played before a looping sound; if the appropriate loop points in a sound are identified, it could be losslessly chopped into the lead-in and looping portions and a sound shader set up to use both.

     

    there is some software can do this..but lets listen and identify...maybe can fix it without the source wav..why not..

  2. Ok...I got it ..anything hitting on the:

    1-floor

    2-carpet

    -Lots of collision sounds.

    Ok guys lets go and make some noise :)

     

    Btw:about audio license I'll make my audio away from the sound libraries on the internet , away from any other audio companies .although I have license of dvd's but I'll make my own audio especially for the mod..I think that's better for everybody.

  3. Here's a list off the top of my head:

     

    1. An explosive screeching of rats

     

    2. Various ambient city sounds, like

     

    a. murmered conversation (looped)

     

    b. distant coughing (heavy, hacking coughs)

     

    c. babies crying

     

    d. shouting

     

    e. distant coach wheels/horseshoes on cobblestones

    3. Creaking sign swaying in the wind

     

    4. window shutters banging in the wind

     

    5. fluttering of several moths around a light

     

    Ok...I have already difference conversation (loop) Amb city.and I'll try to make the rest.tacking some time

  4. Thanks, that answers what I was thinking about.

     

    In case anyone has wondered about my absence, it is mainly because I sold my old computer and have bought a laptop instead. I still need to get an external sound card, and that will probably happen sometime this autumn.

     

    I am still interested in this project.

  6. Snags. A few questions for anyone to answer:

     

    - underwater_bubbles, currently defined in tdm_sfx_world under the 'Musical' section (why). Are these being used in any actual manner?

     

    - frob_lever_metal_large01 and frob_lever_metal_large02 are two defined shaders with two sounds. Are these supposed to be called upon as unique events, or should they be placed into a single shader?

     

    - tdm_ambient_city.sndshd. Seems like this one's referencing files from some Dark Mod long ago. Is being used for anything present in the current build?

     

    "Schatten" maybe know....

    2-i need to KNOW who made this Fs list because i decided to make the proceedings prosecuted internationally :)

    Are you want fs for CLOTH?and can i know the cloth location plz "in the floor"Or "in the air"If in the floor "NO" big differance between cloth and carpet.If in the Air i can't imagine the sound. who can?

     

    -mud,dirt what the differance between them?,snow and ice?? ceramic??does not make sense to me

    or misunderstand.confirm plz.

  8. Hey comp-music. You said at one point you could make some footstep sounds for us on different materials (wood, stone, metal, etc). I'd love to see what you could come up with if you have time. Our current sounds are not that great.

We do have plans to support the common playstyles, mainly by giving a player the option to add additional objectives - for example, if you wanted to play ghost-style, you could check a box in a menu that would trigger failure once an AI is spotting you. This is much more versatile than adding predefined styles.

    Except maybe there's too much sound variation in the wrong pin sounds, but otherwise it's perfect imo :)

    "No" You can use one of them,OR you can use it all of them like a random in game.and in this case i can revariation the "wrong pin" to adjustment with pin sound

    problem with "NH" or "Schatten"? Or any who the charge to add the sound files in game?

    i have 3 ways about that

    1- i can edit with the old pin sound As I Can Possible to remove any effects and i must mention we maybe LOST some a bit sound from the WAVE line itself.>>

     

    2-we can work together between edit the old pin sound and make new if necessary.

     

    3-create all new.

     

    Maybe comp-music can tell me if he needs such a video or not?
