Fonts on 2nd and 3rd picture are less readable, so I'd pick the 1st, or something similar.

So, what is the final verdict ? Are there going to be new texture guidelines or should I stick with good old 512x512 TGAs at the moment?

Interesting enough, the whole movie was actually shot in the Czech republic...

It's a really, really poor b-movie, definitely not worth the money. Uninteresting and boring story, bad acting, not enough tension, violence and "details" for this kind of movie etc. Plus, it's making my country look like a dirty slum filled with deviants, whores and thieving children, which couldn't be farther from the reality. Fuck you, Eli Roth.

What I really hate is that you cannot add notes to the map. You never know which dungeon you already completed...

I'm on level 10, got the skeleton key and already gave up manually picking the locks. It's just too boring and I guess I'm just not hardcore enough to waste time with it ;-)

I have pretty much the same configuration as you, Oddity, and it's playable (25+ fps) only at 800x600 and most settings set to low What resolution do you play it on ? And with bloom ?

What really could be improved is to add the top menu to every page. Always having to click the home or back button is really annoying.

I can't tell which was the best one I ever played, there are quite a few that would deserve to be called that. But if you really, really want me to name just one game, I'd say Planescape Torment. BG2 would be in my top 10 though.

I wouldn't call it the best game ever made, but yeah, it was pretty close to being perfect.

I think Gothic 2 did it way better and maybe that's why I'm looking forward to Gothic 3 a bit more than to the overhyped Oblivion.

I have a new LCD too and Domarius is right, it really is somewhat worse than CRT when doing graphics, because of the colors and lack of true black. That can be partially fixed by buying a better, expensive monitor with better contrast ratio, around 1000:1. Standard LCDs only have it set at 600:1 or so. Otherwise, LCD is better in every way, even for gaming, and I definitely wouldn't change back to a CRT now.

There was a discussion on this before, search the forum. BTW I finished the game a month ago already and it really was worth every second I spent with it.

I agree, the ending of HL2 was very dissapointing. I was like "what? is THIS the end? you gotta be kidding me".

He belongs to the Imperium already, ha haaa! And yes, Fahrenheit is absolutely stunning. If you manage to get over the stupid arcade sequences, you get a great game, unique in many ways. It's a bit short, but sweet.

It's done by Lionhead, who did Black and White and are releasing Movies and B&W 2.

I have an athlon 2500, radeon 9600xt and 1gb ram. Maybe the demo was just badly optimalised for some configurations. And I'm not absolutely against this game, I might still get it if it gets good reviews. It certainly has some nice features and multiplayer will probably kick ass.
