Congrats on the release Sotha!
Just finished playing it, clocked in at 12 minutes on expert for me. Got all of the loot too and had a blast playing it.
I think there's really something special to just a short and sweet straight forward bite sized mission like this.
Good to see a familiar face around on these forums again too

I just finished the mission and had a great time. Kicked off with an excellent briefing video, ambient, readables, voice acting, story and of course the level itself was really well made with lots of attention to detail. I loved all of the twists and turns throughout the mission, I had a lot of fun!
And also thank you to JackFarmer and everyone else on the team who helped to get this mission over the finish line, I am sure Grayman would be very proud with the end result!

For my contest mission I decided to make a small estate/city mission because i'm
creatively bankruptvery original! It's short and sweet but hopefully will be a fun mission too!Additionally I'm happy to report that the building aspect of Shadows of Northdale Act 3 is done! So now I am in the process of polishing, bug fixing, tidying the mission up and then rolling it out to my beta testers for more bug fixing. I am always terrible with ETA's but I will say it is very close to release! I will be posting the briefing video in here once we start wrapping up the beta testing.

Damn I have to say this is all amazing work, I'm thoroughly impressed with that feature list!
I just downloaded the new build and played around with it for a bit and these new features kick ass!

I vastly prefer preset 2 compared to the others.
Preset 1 looks rather weird to me and present 3 is too strong. Preset 2 is a good middle ground.
If this is implemented as a permanent feature I do hope that we have a choice between all four options though. Something like: strong, soft, softest and off. With the default being set to soft aka Preset 2 would be the best.

Congratulations on your first release!
Had a lot of fun playing this one, and for a first release you did an excellent job!
The flow of the mission was fun, starting out at home and traversing through the city into the mansion.
SpoilerIn particular I absolutely loved that story twist you gave at the end. A mission that I thought was going to be a very straightforward city/mansion mission, and ended up adding in some of the mystical and strange elements from thief was just plain badass.
I was sus about that sewer pagan, and I guess rightly so!
From a map making perspective I thought your use of existing assets was really clever, for e.g. scaling up that boat toy on the harbor. When I first saw it I was wondering what that was and had to noclip into the area to verify. Very clever!
Overall an excellent mission man, some great readables and level flow, a fun story and plenty of good conversations thrown into the mix.
Really looking forward to playing what you put out next!

Oh man, the mission ended on something of a cliffhanger and even promised a sequel in the credits (Postal Service). I'm curious to know why plans fell through.
I tried quite a few times to make a sequel but kept running into technical issues. The mission started you on a moving train which was traveling through the snowy mountains. But there were lots of logistical and technical issues I ran into with the train. And because the train was such a big part of what I had planned I didn’t want to just throw that away and do something else.
I had tried reaching out to Grayman who worked quite tirelessly to try and fix the issues I was encountering but ultimately he couldn’t get it working so I just gave up on that version of accountant 3.
After this I tried to make a mission which was quite different but nothing felt right to me and I couldn’t settle on anything I liked so I moved on to other projects.
I know it sucks to leave something on a cliffhanger. But I tried my best to make it happen and it just didn’t work out. Sorry!

Personally I think the most sense would be if the deadline were aimed at the 2.10 release date since part of the contest idea is to reward use of 2.10 features. But this is 1 1/2 months later (middle of Feb) than the original deadline, so it might be unfair if some of the entrants designed their mission on a small scale to be sure to meet the original deadline.
I am in favor of extending the release date as well.
It makes more sense to have the contest deadline after 2.10's release so we can use the new features from day 1 of releasing our missions.

Both Act 3 and Act 4 are quite far along in development and under the current schedule will be released very close together. As for when they drop well it's hard to say as everytime I give out ETA dates I always tend to miss them!

None of our mirrors work for me, they're also all broken on darkfate too.
Whenever I click the link to download them, it opens a new tab in chrome and then immediately disappears with no download in sight.

@stgatilovis currently in the process of updating all existing FMs that used a custom interface (which includes the accountant 1) and updating them to a new gui system that's coming in 2.10. So there may be some downtime with the FMs.
