  1. Something metal: http://img2.freeimagehosting.net/image.php?f7012a5163.jpg http://img2.freeimagehosting.net/image.php?e3e05dd6dc.jpg This one doesn't look like dungeons, more like a factory or other industrial building. Actually it looks more like Doom rather than Thief I'm waiting for your opinions.
  2. Thanks NH! I am browsing team's forum now
  3. Well, team member sounds good I'd like to make some more textures for sure, so I think you can sign me in.
  4. Ok, here are screens of a metal texture: http://www.wgraj.net/img.php?mode=full&file=2849 http://www.wgraj.net/img.php?mode=full&file=2850 Here's a link to the files: http://files.filefront.com//;7997272;;/ If you want, you may send me those hinges Springheel.
  5. I could give a try. I havent used a transparency in D3 yet, though. I mean, how does it work? Can you put a texture on top of another?
  6. That's a little more work to do with the door photos then. Anyway, I'll see what I can do.
  7. You mean, these: http://www.wgraj.net/img.php?mode=full&file=2628 are separate textures? If so, I must say I didn't expect that
  8. Are locks and handles separate models? For a start I could remove those from photographs. For door models (or openable brushes) only one wing from a photo would be needed, I guess.
  9. I have a Canon eos 350d camera, pictures are 8 mpix big (3456 x 2304), so doors alone should be at least 2000 pixels high.
  10. Great! You said that there are metal textures needed, so I thought I could chop the metal door into pieces. But now that you mentioned doors... I was going to ask if there are any needed. Because if you need textures for models or for unopenable doors to put on a wall like in Thief 1 and 2, I could provide some nice pictures. These are the best three I have right now: http://www.wgraj.net/img.php?mode=full&file=2623 - you can see it on one of my screenshots http://www.wgraj.net/img.php?mode=full&file=2624 http://www.wgraj.net/img.php?mode=full&file=2625 Pics are of course scaled down.
  11. I was thinking of using this picture to make a texture: http://www.wgraj.net/img.php?mode=full&file=2572
  12. Pics: http://www.wgraj.net/img.php?mode=full&file=2567 http://www.wgraj.net/img.php?mode=full&file=2568 http://www.wgraj.net/img.php?mode=full&file=2569
  13. I was supposed to change it but I simply forgot:) I fixed those things You mentioned: I changed size of wood textures (and corrected diffuse a little), changed normalmap for bricks, and corrected tiles textures. zip: http://www.sharebigfile.com/file/190514/textures-zip.html
  14. Files can be found here: http://www.sharebigfile.com/file/190276/ar...xtures-zip.html There's also an updated cobbles diffuse map i posted earlier. Now it looks better from a greater distance. Those texture's aren't perfect, I realize that. Especially roof tiles which are based on bump map may not look good in strong, direct light. Wood looks better in smaller scal e s.
  15. I've made some more textures: white bricks http://www.wgraj.net/img.php?mode=full&file=2413 wooden decorative thing http://www.wgraj.net/img.php?mode=full&file=2410 tiles http://www.wgraj.net/img.php?mode=full&file=2411 http://www.wgraj.net/img.php?mode=full&file=2412
  16. Thanks! You seem to be the only one I made something like this: http://server6.theimagehosting.com/image.p...columns.1c5.jpg First it was 64 x 512 but it wasn't good. So I made 128 x 512 and I still think it should be wider. Also I don't now how exactly this brick should look. The one I made is rather grey and boring. What is this status anyway? Because I think I can apply now
  17. I packed 3 textures in tga format with normal maps. They can be found here (14 mb): http://www.sharebigfile.com/file/177538/Ar...xtures-rar.html I tried to compress files to dds format but I couldn't open them in doom editor. What did I do wrong? Anyway, I don't know what level of compression you use. Judith's dds textures are 1 mb each, mine were 1,33 mb (it's default in DDS Converter). This surely could be done
  18. OK, I have something new. I've made some photos of walls, bricks mostly. http://img150.imageshack.us/img150/6273/brickwallyh3.jpg http://img91.imageshack.us/img91/5312/streetsqk7.jpg This texture was made with 4 pictures of a hedge: http://img148.imageshack.us/img148/1262/hedgesy3.jpg I've got also pictures of doors and windows. I think some of it could be used: http://img483.imageshack.us/img483/6045/doorgq1.jpg
  19. Maybe when I have something more to show. I plan to take my camera some day and shoot some photos of historic buildings I coul d use. But for now I prefer not to make a ny declarations.
  20. It's cool to be a part of this project I'm hoping to be back soon with some more stuff.
  21. Because files are in tga and weight 3 mb each I sent them on mail. But I guess 1024 x 1024 textures will be compressed?
  22. OK. To recruiting@thedarkmod.com?
  23. Thanks. Yes, I've made high res 1024x1024 version. I used it to make the screenshot.
  24. Hello, I'm new here so first I'd like to say that I admire the work you've done so far. I can't wait to play the first mission created with TDM. I've made this simple wooden texture using photo of my wainscot. I know it's not much and you probably have acres of beautiful wood textures of any kind and you don't need any more wall textures. Anywa y I hope you like it.
