I just came to the conclusion at 4am that I tend to (nearly always) make a glowing skin for my models. Don't ask for glowing trees, you know I'll do it!

I'm a freak. I have *two* holes in each of my ears. One is up about an inch above the ear canal. Now that's not the problem, the problem is that it occasionally itches like crazy, and when I squeeze it, this weird stuff comes out. Anybody else have (or even ever hear of) this?

I would prepare wall sections. i) wall with doorway, ii) wall with window, iii) wall only. Make decent detail pieces. Then you could instantly change appearance by retexturing them for variety. Like this: http://forums.thedarkmod.com/topic/14832-modular-building-techniques/?p=311944

If I was to build a city area (which I try to avoid at all costs, because city areas aren't that interesting gameplaywise and are slow to build), I would use the modular approach.
