  1. Ok, it works. I tried it.
  2. Yes, I think they use the same map format. Darkradiant should be able to open a prey map, but you would have to place new textures and entities.
  3. Someone needs to create material definitions for all these textures. Do we have tools to automate that?
  4. Don't tempt me.
  5. I would love a stealth game based on The Dark Mod in a science fiction setting. But you would need to create A LOT of assets to do that. Textures, models, animations, sound and whatnot.
  6. Thank you! You'r refering to the "Find dirt on Talbot" objective, right? First, Second,
  7. I meant the games. It was an extremely funny joke.
  8. Never heard of them. Are they any good?
  9. My opinion about the loot requirements: Nearly every mission has them; they are a nice progress indicator and reward, but apart from that they are kind of pointless. They can kill progress if the missing loot is to well hidden. They also have to make sense storywise. It's completely stupid when a thief refuses to leave a zombi infested area because he absolutely needs 3 extra gold coins. The no-ko objectives: I think they are a cool challenge for people who want it. It should be an option for players to choose. We did that with the hard and expert settings in "Collateral", but the 3 difficulty levels are not ideal for this.
  10. They're getting better and better! I enjoyed this mission thoroughly; the dark, dirty and moody look and feel, the architecture (and the big fat rat) etc. Everything is competently done. Another great mission.
  11. Some of the older missions that I personally like (apart from those already mentioned): The Outpost (angua & greebo)Thief's Den 2: Chalice of Kings (Fidcal)Too Late (Nielsen74)Flakebridge Monastery (Jesps)
  12. Playing Wizardry 6 for the first time ever, with map drawing and all. It`s quite a different experience, but I like it.

Wizardry VI is awesome! And yeah, mapping is part of the fun... I still have my spiral notebook with the maps I made.

I have so many questions that I could ask you, but I want to go in blind and get my ass kicked. Will I get my ass kicked?

      Yes. Oh yes.

  13. Where would I find the sources for this release, if I wanted a linux build?

I have the same problem on Archlinux with an AMD HD6570 card. But unfortunately I don't know what causes it or how to fix it. A driver downgrade (catalyst 15.12 to 15.9) didn't help.
  15. This is a great map. It can be hard to navigate and you have to think a little to find out where to go and what to do next, but I liked that. There is a lot to explore and do, though most of the objectives are optional. I'm not even sure if I got all of them, but I Thanks!
  16. We are talking about Dark Mod mission makers, do we?
  17. I haven't played the game in a while, and now there are lots of new, big missions available.

..And we have a new TDM version coming! I'm waiting for that before playing anything. And when it is released.... Then it is TDM binge time!

By the way, are those corrections for romanian going to arrive at 2.04?

  18. When will the test begin?
  19. I have yet to decide who to vote for. That's not an easy decision. By the way: I qualify for the "New mapper" category. *wink* *wink*
  20. Someone voted for me. Thanks nbohr! That makes me happy.
  21. That would be a good opportunity for me to get back into the game. I am running Archlinux.
  22. Devin is great. But liked him better with Strapping Young Lad. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2vCeuRRDwVw
  23. I have already pledged and I'm about to fire up the prototype right now.
  24. I finally got around to installing Whatsapp on my phone. And it absolutely sucks. I'm being overrun by a horde of smileys and nothing much else of value.

Android (CyanogenMod to be precise). Thanks, but ads are not my problem. I don't even have the Google apps installed (including the Playstore). I am just complaining about how other people use their phones. ;)

Yeah, prose is dead they say. Kids are terrified of communication, even behind the veil of a text message.
