  1. Even without greenlight lots of crap or non working games get on Steam bypassing GL. Nothing shameful in GL. The real hurdle will be the communication on how TDM will be featured on Steam after GL.
  2. Btw is the nickname V-Man a reference to Richard Nixon?
  3. No reason why making money from TDM by any FM author would be allowed by the team. No difference with making premium FM's here. TDM is free. Period. Only games that were intended available for money can ask for money on some workshop content. There is no reason to change things now. If future steam policy will be too liberal - those FM's who break the freeware philosophy will be deleted manually or with inquiring Steam support.
  4. Maybe it would just be more productive and cost efficient for everyone's time to just have CC subtitle captions?
  5. I must confess that I'm not a native speaker either, but it sounds very well and the words are pronounced properly and well rounded. Should be clear enough for foreign speakers IMHO. This is a proper short movie fit not just for Greenlight but any advertisement/presentation to a new audience, on YouTube, main site page or anywhere. Any opportunity to explain TDM without text is good. This is such an opportunity.
  6. Makes sense considering the desire of map makers to make greater FM's. In spite of 60-70% of FM's easily rubbing shoulders with every NPC of under 30-15 meters.
  7. There is a lot of worth with Steam Cloud however. Pragmatic. If it's possible to implement in due time.
  8. Absolutely not. Check Heroine's Quest The Herald of Ragnarok. Decent point & click on Steam 100% for free.
  9. The music is good whatever you say. Surely you don't truly mean that defecating alcoholic vandals aren't popular on Greenlight? http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=91573598
  10. The music and the pacing, fitting the gameplay footage was great in this one:
  11. That wasn't ever finished was it? Tels went AWOL.
  12. I don't usually agree with this person but when I do, it's this:
  13. They aren't necesarily malevolent but they are wound up on obscurantism and mysticism. Hints of gothic approaches that was a popular fad for the 90's would be fitting maybe as well.
  14. At the moment it would be advisable to get these plans in motion concurrently with providing TDM with EAX functionality at 2.06. Then people with big expectations wouldn't be turned off so easily as it is a valid and long term complaint after all. A big turn-off.
  15. Don't think so. Just a slight awkwardness to kick off another letter. Or not. At least an opportunity to practice writing formal letters in an unstandardized way for a change. If you like doing that.
  16. If anyone has time. It won't hurt. They don't bite.
  17. Alright thank you. I had an impression, precisely that every FM I played overrides the auto lockpick setting.
  18. I think it's supposed to work that way but in auto mode I still have to press LMB for some reason. That would be the idea. Maybe I'm having a glitch?
  19. I never got the difference between the lockpicking easy difficulty and auto-lockping. It doesn't on auto pilot mode lockpick it like Thief 1 & 2 does so what's it supposed to mean exactly? The tutorial doesn't say anything on it.
  20. Bohemian Killing - Original Soundtrack and Artbooks DLC includes only the OST and the Artbooks? I own the game already and wouldn't want to cause prejudice and to absorb more than that.
  21. Indeed, Neverwinter Nights and KOTOR (1 and 2 if you wish) are the poster child of every Bioware creation - from Mass Effect to Dragon Age it's the same thing over and over but bigger in size and scope each year.
  22. Indeed, or he's got some clever stratagem in mind to make the show more interesting for those siting in the first rows. Though Trump may be unpredictable, he's been against China forever. Only Russia fears China and makes unilateral concessions to them all the time these days. No wonder, because they have only 3 % of world GDP. Though you could argue it stretches back to the Sino-Soviet conflict. The policy of returning factories back to developed countries from China is actually pretty sound. But, obviously the wall with Mexico isn't cost-efficient.
