lost_soul's half-assed solution of the day: There's a hard drive with over 100 bad sectors, making everything run EXTREMELY SLOW. Instead of swapping out the hard drive, I moved the OS to the later half, away from the bad sectors! Now it runs fast and fine!

I can't believe it's taking 8 minutes to download just the screenshots of Briarwood Cathedral, only 2.3 MB. Forget about the FM itself! Wifi in developing countries like Burma has a long way to go... =L

Yes, I got it for £1.75 too. And no, it is not really a game, more a piece of artwork in navigable 3D. The graphics are probably the most attractive and realistic I have ever seen.

They're not fully up to speed for high-performance 3D game support, but they work very well for desktop use. Their binary drivers are faster but sometimes have compatibility problems (like all binary drivers do).

That's why I always buy AMD graphics cards. nVidia might have better binary drivers, but they don't give a shit about open source (unlike AMD and Intel).
