Well you can see the result of my work here. I will find time and post a topic on top 5 russian forums. Now i really can not do any programming i even dont know basics so maybe next year i will gain some skills and will try it in making FM for TDM. But i i think that animation is main problem now. Indicaion of several stances of NPCs like searching or hearing close/distant sound is needed.

Hm. Cause i am not a programmer and dont know hot to create levels for TDM i can only help with filling submission form or pay steam fees (100$) anyway this money will go for Child’s Play so it is a good use of money.

Ok. Now it is clear to me that there will be no Kickstarter for St.Russel or something like it. But i think that bringing TdM on kickstarer will not cost any money and will take maybe 1 hour of your time. If you want to know about Greenlight read this story from another group of developers. I will copy it here so you dont need to visit other sites but there is some cute pictures on source.

Because we understand that passion is nothing without time. And we want developers to be free from stupid work with freelancing or something or that is there way to earn for living. We want them to be comfortable doing all this. Thief communiti always was full of passion counting fanmissions from T1-2 but money could bring this all to new level of professionalism not like Thief 4. It could be product from fans to fans. Strange you ask such question after all this KS campaings.

Good day! This mod (actually now its not a mod but a GAME but ok) needs proper SETUP file. I downloaded 2.0 from torrent and there was problems with SAVES (folder name must be DARKMOD) and i cannot seed if i will not copy entire folder. All this problems could be resolved with 1 setup file that will instal evrything as it needed to be. And we can escape all this steps Install TDM on Windows Create a folder named “darkmod”. Download the TDM Updater (see below for alternate download locations) Extract the tdm_update.exe from the downloaded ZIP and copy it into your darkmod directory. Start the tdm_update.exe. The installer will connect to one of our download mirrors and start the download process. Be patient and wait. The download weighs > 2 GB and will probably take a while. After installation, you’ll find an executable TheDarkMod.exe in your darkmod folder. Use this to start The Dark Mod. I know what you will say. That only hardcore progamers will play TDM and they will not have problems with that. But if we want to attract casual players it must be comfortable for them to play this..GAME! =) for example i created thread on local forum on another gamers community site and there was two people for whom DARKMOD folder name wasnt intuitional.

I think the main question now is not why but WHEN?! when do we need to vote?

I think that Stephen Russell +The Dark Mod+Steam+Kickstarter is what that project needs! I will gladly pay developers for their work!
