Finally, people got the editor for Duke Nukem Forever 2011 running! (More info: https://github.com/jmarshall23/DNF-reimposition)
And there are several Dnf-2001 restore projects on their way.
Its going to be a great year for DNF modding!

I awakened at 7 AM this morning by some jack-off running a jack-hammer right outside the window. I live right next to a McDonalds. This is not the first time; I've called the police because they were running a F***ing power washer at 3 AM before. I thought there were laws about making excessive noise at inappropriate hours, but as we all know, laws rarely apply to businesses.

I bring bad news, Lady Rowena has died. A shame, as she seemed like a talented author. May her children cope well with this.

Woohoo! I have GLSL shaders drawing the odd surface among our lit surfaces that use old ARB assembly shaders. And I have GLSL shaders able to feed our stencil and alpha buffers from images renderered off screen while light and shadow are being drawn. And all without changing a line of existing code. So much exciting stuff to try out now

I know this has been debated before but I still think it would be nice to have full body animations for your character and the possibility of third person camera ingame...

All games don't have to look the same, or use the latest and greatest effects. Gameplay is more important. The advancement in graphics by mainstream game companies is there to keep the player upgrading. TDM isn't under contract to push the latest features in order to push players toward buying new hardware.

The joy of Steam: can't play Deus Ex: HR without a net connection since the saves are stored on their cloud. Yaaaaay.
