  1. the tray is like that, i did not do anything on it. yeah please pm me with the things you have found, i can use everything for the next map for the optional objective... edit: those guards only get stuck sometimes thats why i could not really find out how to solve it.
  2. klingt recht nach einem bug, hast du das problem schon immer auf der map? versuchst du mehrere brushes gleichzeitig zu drehen? edit: hast du den brush irgendwie bearbeitet bevor du es versuchst zu drehen?

Also von der höhe her orientiert sich der neue brush bei dem den du als letztes erschaffen oder ausgewählt hast. "- If i push this brush now to the part of my level -> in top-view and one side-view i cant rotate it over about 5 deg, because it will be degenerated- but models and patches anyway -" wie versuchst du die brushes zu drehen? mit "R" und ziehen oder mit "free model rotation" oder vielleicht roate and scale? "- If i want to copy or push the rotated brush to the mine it will be degeneratet by darkradiant - in console "Warning: removed degenerate brush!rotateTool -eulerXYZ 0.0377302 -0.0347193 0.425738"" ziehst du die brushes im top few? hast du es schon mit "Alt+Pfeiltasten" probiert? Ich bin auch kein meister in engisch, vielleicht kommen wir besser zusammen wenn du es mir auf deutsch erzählst^^ grüße Andreas/Sono
  4. everything is fine by me . My post was meant to be a joke , sorry I am doing still a bit hard with writing english. Hmm... I could not find a page for DM. I will look it up again later but i want to know first, what other players think. Edit: btw, I can vote for myself too, can anyone tell me how to skip this so I can see the results right away? I don't really want to vote for myself

  6. So, here is the first map (Great Christmas Contest) I have ever created. It was not easy but I had fun making it. About: You have to break into a mansion and find the "special delivery" Buildtime: less then 2 months Version (1.01): (2012/01/10) http://www.thedarkmo...ndetails/?id=11 (English version 1.02 will be out soon) Small changes, mostly to make it 1.07 compatible. If you have played it already you wont see anything new. Get the German Version (1.02) here!

This map is looks really good, nice dirty also a bit like a cave sometimes- I have missed like 200 loot on difficult, maybe because my lcd is set to dark, sometimes I have to concentrate to see anything, but i kind a like it that way. The gamplay was pretty solid. too bad you did not finish it, only made it playable, but still a nice little mission.
  8. haha same here. and i sometimes create a speaker just 4 fun and play the track "forest_children" it reminds me soo much of Myst. I just have to use it on my next map

  11. its easyer to make a atdm:target_set_frobable make a brush fitting where you want it texture it with Clip texture, then rightklick, create entity, and choose: "targets/atdm:target_set_frobable". Any object (inside of the brush) is not frobable anymore, now the last thing to do is target it from a lever or button or something, you could target a door and the frobbrush at the same time. btw, objects near a "atdm:target_set_frobable" could become unfrobable too, if that happens just add as property to the obj: "immune_to_target_setfrobable" so it wont change its status http://wiki.thedarkmod.com/index.php?title=Containers%2C_Chests%2C_etc.

  14. Thanks but i want you to play this map for fun, you helped me so much and i hate not being able to give something back. And you are working on a FM too, if noone else wants to betamap it, its ok.

  18. did you guys use shop_skip - 1 on the world? because i have deleted it and it works again, it seems that is not finished in the code yet! edit: so it seems we have to live with an empty store
  19. O.O hmmm.... well starting map was used before right? So i dont think that could be the reason, what else... edit: I have tried to delete the usersettings, packed again but still the same
  20. Its: "living_expenses" i think that should be ok. but i will try with "living"to confirm
  21. Its my own FM, i did not notice it before, maybe it has something to do with the startingmap v3? edit: and what is the .bak data? do i need to pack this up too?
  22. Strange, i have exactly the same problem O.o edit: the map is basicly finished, and you can still do all the objectives, only that the difficulty settings appear on the first time you press esc
