  1. Sorry, I just replied to this thread I Googled. I have the latest 1.7.1 DR version and running a Windows 7 Home Premium.
  2. I also have that message. I tried to install VC++ 2010, but it informed me that I already have a newer version installed on my computer. Any suggestions why that is so?
  3. I've been thru the map countless times, but I still find the chest key. Can someone give a more detailed description please? Also is it possible to reach that archer on the gatehouse just left from the room you start?
  4. I really liked this misson! The start was poor, but it just kept getting better and better. I didn't like the start, because of the dull and empty caves and texture, nothing much to do there. The tower is just huge! I thought at first it will end on the first several floors, and thought it will be another zombie/undead mission... After reacing the upper floors with rope the excitement grew. Really nice smooth switch on the bulders. After that I thought ok that's the last floor I suppose (although I still wanted to explore further). But after that a huge stone fortress appears and it was like BOOM - how incredible is that? So I explored every last piece of it. A really enjoyable and very unique mission! Great job "Fieldmedic"! I have a request though. I didn't manage to open the door to Priest's office? Or however that room is called. The second floor by the curch and the left door from stairs (not the one straight in front of stairs). It was locked and I couldn't pick it nor I had the key. The priest didn't have it either, but he could open the door. Could someone please post the screen of that room? I'd really appreciate it.

    The new Thief is coming guys!! That just made my day more then anything! Still we can't wait for this mod too! Keep on going guys you made great work so far
  6. I didn't know which forum to pick for this topic so I'm sorry if it's the wrong one. I have few things that bothered me in Thief before. I don't know if you guys fixed it or you're going to fix it so I'll list it anyways: 1) Opening and closing the door makes noise. In Thief series AI don't "hear" the noise. You should fix it making AI alert or just make them quickcheck the door and behind them (saying some things meanwhile). Unarmed peasants should become frightened of sudden noise. I think it would be much more realistic and interesting this way. 2) There were some missions in past Thief when you had to run a machine or something similar. The AI didn't respond to the noise as I can remember. They should get alert. Also with the noise all around the AI "heard" you walking/running/jumping. (This would be appropriate if someone would make that kind of mission) 3) AI don't respond to dropping equipment noise too. I'm sorry if this was discussed before otherwise it'd be nice if someone else share such minor mistakes. Aryx
  7. Hey! First of I'm a big Thief fan and I'm very pleased that there's another project going on. I'm also producing in Reason and I'm now experimenting with some scary, dark atmosphere. I'll test myself in dark ambient genre and see what I can do. This is what I made yesterday in two hours but it's ment to be an intro for my new track I think the mids are exposed too much. Still I have some sounds to add and fix. Uruk(Short unfinished intro) Here's also one dark ambient track from my favourite artist Alek Szahala (Aszgarnak). The begining and end of the track is the most suitable for gameplay in my opinion the middle is a bit too disorted. Here it is: Aszgarnak - Shinnae If I make a decent ambient track I'll post it here for you to hear. Just how long should the track be? Aryx
