vorob replied to Melan's topic in Fan Missions
Hello, if i'm unaware of this wonderful campaign, where can i get all info? Cause first post is outdated, and reading all 7 pages is weird business. How many missions are planned? What's the current status of campaign?- 183 replies

Hello! There are some games, in steam, which are distributed for free. Maybe there is a point to submit Darkmod as a free title into steam library? Millions of players will see this project, there will be steam installation process and etc. Sorry if you already discussed this topic and i’ve missed the party.

Played it half-a-year ago and now decided to test some things. No update science then and trap door is still not working. And without loot from it its impossible to complete mission on hardest level... -
Launched A Score to Settle, didn't do alt-tab, didn't open console, but mouse wheel is inverted. Maybe you can check this fm too?

While in text file briefing looks ok: Last year in the Weavers' Arms, Sam, my informant, described plans for a raid on a tomb of the Ancients - King Aldreth's Crypt. He finished ''Farrell, only you can do this job.'' But an old thief adventurer called Mudgeon overheard and got there first. He sold the plunder and retired to a small, well-guarded house in the Bellworth district. He kept Aldreth's crown and a vessel called The Chalice of Kings, handed down from sovereign to sovereign for centuries. I have a worthless stage crown; maybe I can do a switch. There is also said to be a death mask. Such artifacts fetch high prices. Mudgeon was a no-guild amateur and way out of line. I've given him time to relax his guard. I intend to take full advantage. ingame last word is cut: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5020311/Share/TheDarkMod%202013-10-21%2010-31-55-50.jpg

Hello, i played few fms, and in some of them my mouse wheel works ok, like it should be (wheel down, and things come to me, wheel up and it goes away), but in some missions its inverted O_o and its really weird. Thieves Den, A Night to Remember, Tears of Saint Lucia these were ok, but A Score to Settle and Alberic's Curse these had wheel inverted. Any explanation for such weird thing?

Fan Mission 48: A Score to Settle, by Springheel (2011/07/01)
vorob replied to Springheel's topic in Fan Missions
The mission begins on the porch of the bar from which we come out. So there are some logic. Really we need a map and strict objective to visit our friend. I think this should be our only objective at the beginning. -

By the way, looks like mousewheel is inverted in this mission O_o -

Completed this one yesterday. Think absence of map is not a good idea because I was just walking around trying to understand where should I go, thought i understand that i should visit my friend first. You could add map without any specific marks, only Gridley's spot so it would be easier to orient there, and when you visit Gridley he will update your map with additional info. p.s. since i'm russian i didn't know that privy=toilet so it was pain in the ass to look into all dictionaries and find just last line smth like “privy = old word for toilet place” -
