Yeah, I used some for blocking off routes so I didn't have to go to all the effort of mapping a full mine, just a route through it. They're all pretty bloody huge though, and cause problems if you shrink certain ones.

It's a fantasy setting, man. They could have enchanted cats to fire mining lasers into the rock and melt smooth tunnels into the Earth. I'm more concerned with the stealth gameplay than the curvature of the walls, honestly.

The rocks look good, but too natural for this. It's a mine, not a naturally occurring cave, so it's bound to be more structured than that.

I've just been making the insides, then sealing it with brush walls and creating patches off them. I dunno, I think they look alright! http://puu.sh/gQmPh/f0b98cf217.jpg There's the odd seam here and there in places thanks to lighting, but they're there in Skyrim too. What I'm saying here is that I'm as good if not better than Skyrim's level designers.

Dived in my Ulysses WIP after a longish break. Damn! After a break everything looked so much better than I remembered. Modular, of course, but not as fancy as Springheel's modules. The map state: basic geometry 100%, detailing 50%, Entitywork & objectives: 5%. The plot is fully fleshed out in my mind. I wish I had more free time....
